After arriving home, Kouhei headed straight for the bathroom without wasting any time, and before long, he had already settled himself into the bathtub filled with pleasantly warm water.
The soothing warmth embraced his entire body the moment he lowered himself into the bath, making it feel as though all the exhaustion that had accumulated throughout the day was slowly dissolving away. It had been one long day filled with one event after another, leaving him mentally and physically drained, so being able to simply sit back and relax like this honestly felt therapeutic. A quiet sigh naturally escaped his lips as he leaned against the edge of the tub, letting himself enjoy the peaceful silence for however long it would last.
Unfortunately, that peaceful silence didn't last very long.
