After recalling all the information on the art, Rei Lin didn't begin cultivating right away. Instead, he called out clearly, "Queen!"
The little fairy appeared in a flash, her wings fluttering as she narrowed her eyes. "Weren't you going to cultivate? Why call me?" she asked.
"I forgot," Rei Lin said with a sheepish smile. "Before going into seclusion, I'd like to use the random trading system once."
Her eyes lit up slightly. "Ah, just taking chances for some fun, I see." With a wave of her hand, a golden system screen appeared in front of him again.
He rotated the selection and chose random trade as the trade mode.
[Please set the object for trading.]
Rei Lin randomly selected low-tier Spirit Stone from his inventory.
[Spirit Stone detected. Confirm to proceed with Random Trade?]
He pressed yes without hesitation. A flash of golden light blinded him momentarily. When it faded, the spirit stone was gone — replaced by a glowing white stone streaked with golden veins.
[Congratulations! You have obtained: Golden Vein Jade Stone (Heaven Rank)]
Golden Vein Jade Stone: A high-grade crafting material used in forging Heaven-rank treasures.
Rei Lin's eyes widened. "Not bad…"
Meanwhile, far away in another realm, a young blacksmith disciple had just placed his Golden Vein Jade Stone on his worktable, preparing to use it in his Heaven-rank forging trial. Just as he was about to strike, the stone vanished in a golden flash.
His face froze. His fingers trembled.
"WHO DARES TO STEAL FROM ME?!" he roared, sending shockwaves through the forge as everyone around looked at him in shock.
Unaware of the commotion he had caused, Rei Lin simply smirked and turned back to cultivation. Sitting cross-legged again, he focused inward and began channeling his Qi.
He visualized the Primordial Elephant Hell Suprresing Art, circulating Spirit Qi into the first cell of his body.
That cell responded — vibrating faintly — as it began to fill with energy, beginning its transformation into the Hell Element.
After a week
A knock on the door prompted Rei Lin to open his eyes and exit his cultivation state.
"Yes?" he asked. A pretty receptionist was there.
"Sorry, young cultivator, but your time is up. Would you like to extend it?" she asked politely.
Rei Lin frowned slightly. "Hmm, a whole week and I was only able to transform two cells... This technique really needs a hell lot of Spirit Qi," he sighed and decided to book another month.
The red-dressed attendant nodded and, after handling the transaction, left him alone again. Rei Lin sat back down, crossing his legs once more.
Three months later
He finally succeeded in transforming ten of his body's 840 million cells — each one infused with the terrifying energy of the Primordial Elephant Hell Suppressing Art.
They are now Hell Elephant cells.
"Finally…" Rei Lin mumbled as he stood up, stretching his stiff body. For the past three months, he had been cultivating twelve hours a day without fail.
And then, fortunately — perhaps destined by luck — just as his allotted time(own schedule not game imposed) came to an end, Rei Lin managed to complete the cultivation of ten cells. With that, he gained the first Five supernatural abilities of the Primordial Elephant Hell Suppressing Art.
Satisfied, he logged out of Cultivation Online, stretching his body as he moved into the kitchen. He cooked a simple meal while absentmindedly pulling out a Spirit Stone — a habit he'd developed over the past three months. Every day, without fail, he'd perform a random trade. Despite doing it for so long, he had yet to get anything truly special… until now.
As he placed the Spirit Stone into the system:
[Random Trade Successful. Congratulations, Host — you have obtained a Soul Weapon: Nine Heavens Painting.]
Rei Lin froze mid-bite, chopsticks suspended halfway to his mouth. His eyes widened in disbelief.
"W-What...? A soul weapon?" he muttered, his voice nearly trembling. He dropped the food back into the bowl and quickly tapped open the item description.
[Nine Heavens Painting — Soul Weapon (Bound)]
A mystical scroll said to contain nine worlds within it, each one sealed by ancient divine runes. The painting evolves with the wielder's soul and cultivation.
Current Accessible World:Human Realm.
Human Realm: A vast continent the size of ten Earths, covered only in land. Rich in Origin Qi — a primordial form of energy that can be refined into any other Qi type. Excellent for cultivation, beast nurturing, and spiritual enlightenment.
Rei Lin stared at the floating interface.
His jaw dropped a bit.
"I... I really hit the jackpot."
He summoned the painting into the room. A long, rolled scroll materialized in his hands — its surface embroidered with shimmering gold threads and a faint pulse, as if it were breathing with his soul.
"So this is a soul-bound weapon..."
It was beautiful — ancient, elegant, and heavy with mystery.
He slowly unrolled a portion of the scroll. As the seal on the Human Realm loosened, a soft gust of wind whooshed out, followed by a warm radiance.
Inside the painting… there was a world.
Mountains. Valleys. Floating peaks. Endless land stretching beyond the eye. All of it filled with dense Origin Qi, almost liquified in concentration. Rei Lin could feel it from just gazing inside.
"This… this isn't just a treasure. This is a sacred realm in my pocket," he thought.
A private world. A cultivation paradise. A battlefield. A sanctuary. A beast-nurturing ground.
The uses were endless — and he had eight more worlds still locked inside the scroll.
"Only one unlocked now…" Rei Lin whispered, carefully rolling the scroll back up with reverence.
"If the first world is already this vast and rich… I can't even imagine what the others are like."
Then a thought hit him.
"But… how do I use it?" he frowned, inspecting the scroll. It was clearly bound to his soul, but he couldn't feel a direct connection yet. When he tried to infuse Qi into it, it rejected him — not violently, but like a door refusing to open.
A faint light shimmered beside him.
"Host, drop your blood on it," Queen's voice echoed softly.
"Since it's granted by the system, the scroll will instantly recognize you as its master once it accepts your blood."
