This time we are able to arrive at the most popular resort island without any interruptions, luckily we arrived in a maintenance location close to the resorts servers, so once ii was outside my TARDIS, I send my mechanical force out towards the servers that where only separated by a single wall according to the map that Ada was able to create from scans she did after landing.
Thinking of this, it makes one wonder why the Doctor's TARDIS never did this for him. The only reason I could think of was that she most likely wanted to give the Doctor surprises each time he visited a location, allowing only for visual scans of the area around the TARDIS itself.
Once I was connected to the server via my mechanical force, thanks to its recent growth, I could edit and hack the files, ensuring there was space available for a reservation. Once I confirmed there was enough room for both me and Alice, I created a reservation for me and Alice.
With that done disconnected from the server, however, as I did, I notice that I seem to be exhausted, not physically but mentally, it appears the more secure a machine is, the more mental strain it puts on me, that reminds me once I get my room I should look at the skill improvement for mechanical force.
With the reservations made, we make our way back into the TARDIS, then use it to make our way to the reception so we can get our rooms.
After arriving at the reception both Alice and me leave the TARDIS, only to see that everyone had noticed their arrival, as most of the guests were of different races, some with a long history, they were able to recognize that the strange phone booth that had just appeared out of now where was a legendary TARDIS the mode of transportation for only one kind of person, Time Lords.
As for how I know this, it's from the reaction they had once I entered the room; they moved away, most likely out of fear, as the stories of what happened in the Time War, of how the Time Lords went from observers to full-blown warriors, capable of causing so much death.
Ignoring all the looks I was receiving, I pulled Alice along to the receptionist's desk. Once there, I spoke, "We have a prepaid reservation." That's right, reservations during this time were paid in full at the time of booking, which was intended to prevent people from enjoying the resort's amenities without payment. And just as their stay was about to end, they would disappear, obviously escaping the bill.
"Name" was the receptionist's only response to my words, knowing that this was normal, since, despite looking human, the receptionist was actually an android with set parameters. Hence, he just gave a name he had not used since he became a Time Lord, "Nick Asmodius." Yeah, that was the Name that the R.O.B. had given him during his time as a human.
As for why the R.O.B. gave me the last name of a Demon, I have no idea, but it's the name I got, so why not use it? When I need a more reasonable name, the Doctor has the name John Smith, so why can't I have a Human alias?
After finding the reservation in the system she hand us two keys, one for a room for Alice the other for me, as for why we were not sharing, that's because due to some of the cultures of some of the potential guests, whose racial culture forbid men and women from sharing the same room unless they were married, the resort to avoid backlash from these races they adopted it as policy that unless married women and men could not share a room, that did not mean they could not enter each other's rooms but they could not stay the night.
That was fine with me, as it would give me some time to check my stats without worry that Alice would see me looking into space while grinning as I look at the system, which would raise questions that I don't want to have to answer.
With the keys in hand, we examined them, as they had both the room number and floor number engraved on them. Luckily for us, our rooms were both on the same floor and right next to each other.
Returning to the TARDIS, I set the destination to my room, which saves me time finding it, especially since I have access to a complete map of the resort. This means I can keep my TARDIS in my room while I enjoy my vacation.
Once we arrive in my room, I leave the TARDIS with Alice in tow. Once outside in my room for the next week, I move to the door opening for Alice so she can go to her room. With Alice now out of the room and the door securely closed, it was time for me to check the improvement to my mechanical force.
SYSTEM DISPLAY: SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Mechanical Force:
Lvl Max.
This skill enables the user to interact with any machine or machine component and manipulate them in various ways. Additionally, this ability is a prerequisite for creating mechanical life forms, such as an AI or a TARDIS.
Effects:
Allows communication with any intelligent machines.
Allows for absolute control of any machines by simply thinking.
Allow one to send their Mechanical Force to check a machine's condition or the condition of specific components.
All intelligent Machines have a highly favourable Opinion of the user.
Limitation depends on the user and their creativity.
(New) The ability to hack any machine (Note: this will be affected by your primitive coding skill; the higher its level, the lower the mental strain) when hacking a device that uses a language you know. Even if the language is not known, hacking is still possible, but mental strain will increase.)
Note that this skill will always be at its maximum level, but can be further improved by the user.
"huh so I can now hack any machine although ones that use programing languages that I am not familiar with, will cause mental exhaustion" with these thoughts so many plans were coming to my mind I could use this to hack the Dalek network when I see a Dalek again maybe I could screw with Davros just like I did with the master, well I guess this incarnation of me likes screwing with Whovian villains, strange though I never though the original incarnation would have quirks like the later incarnations, not that it's a problem.
With that done, it was time to enjoy this vacation to the best of my capabilities. With this in mind, I went to the door, opened it, and headed into the hallway. Then, I moved to the door next to mine and knocked on it.
Not long after, Alice opens the door, not giving her time to say anything. I inform her that I'm going to enjoy some of the amenities, while also suggesting she do the same. Not waiting for her to reply, I turn on my heel and head towards the elevator that leads to the main hall, which is connected to all the recreational buildings.
As I reach the elevator, I see other guests waiting for it. I can't help but hear the conversation that the guests are having, "Have you heard? Someone went to the forbidden floor and has not returned. Some say it's haunted, and anyone who heads there never returns" Hearing this, I can't help but think one thing: `Fuck`.
