Knowing that my vacation was over now that ii have discovered, I turn around heading back to my room to decide what to do, although it was apparent. Just as I reach my room door, the door that was next to mine opens, and Alice comes out, and by the looks of it, she was ready to experience the recreational facilities.
"We have a problem" Hearing my words, Alice freezes before turning to me "What do you mean? I thought you had already left for the recreational buildings" I can only shake my head before speaking "Unfortunately, there's a problem with the resort. There's a forbidden floor where people disappear. I am sure you know what that means. Time to investigate".
Alice sighs at my last word, but reluctantly opens her room door and puts her stuff back in. While she is doing that, I open my room door and head in, leaving the door open for Alice. Not long later, I hear a door close and Alice walks into my room, closing the door behind her.
"So, what's this about a forbidden floor?" I grin as I talk about what I overheard from the other guests. After finishing, I moved to My TARDIS, entering it to get the laptop I made when I was screwing with the Master's plans.
With the laptop in hand, I return to my room where Alice is waiting and sit on my bed, opening the laptop and turning it on. With the laptop on, the first thing I do is send my mechanical force into the laptop. Why? Because I will be hacking the server using the laptop as a medium, as it can connect to the resort network, I will be able to assess the server and obtain the official map and blueprint of the resort.
Once I had obtained both, I made a strange discovery: the forbidden floor was listed on both the blueprint and the official map, but was labelled as the owner's suite. Why does this look familiar to me? Isn't it similar to Satellite Five when the Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe ran it?
If that's the case, it's possible for a similar scenario to be taking place here, hopefully without the Daleks being behind it, like what would they need from a resort world that would warrant them to all this elaborate planning?
That's not all I find, all the guests who went to the forbidden floor were all human, which means either the Daleks are trying to convert them to Daleks or the Cybermen are upgrading them, but something is bothering me, it does not make sense that no government has done anything, it just makes no sense at all.
The issue is that the server has no information on the owner of this resort; it's as if they intentionally erased all the records or they never included them, but if that were the case, then someone would have noticed.
"Looks like we are going to have to take a look, the server has the floor down as the owner's suite, yet the maps we are given say the floor is forbidden. Why does the map they give guests say something different from what's on their server? Not to mention that calling something forbidden is just asking for guests to investigate, and those guests never return, suspicious if you ask me".
"It's like the whole Harry Potter Forbidden Forest situation, despite being told it's forbidden, there's like 40% of the students that have entered at least once to explore" Her comparison makes me look at her, sure, it's similar, but that's fiction, this is reality. Instead of kids, it's grown ass adults, and these adults never return.
I never realised just how simple something needs to be to make it understandable to a normal human, like Jesus, by comparing a real-life scenario with a fictional one about kids, when it's currently adults going missing on the forbidden floor. At least it will be entertaining to see how things get out of hand with how simple the average human can be. I am jealous of the doctor now; he got Martha a medical student who is more intelligent than the average human.
I sign before getting off the bed and heading to the door with Alice in tow, our destination the forbidden floor to see what's going on, and get this over with as quickly as possible so I can enjoy my vacation without any issues arising.
Once we reach the elevator, we enter. Luckily, there's no one else inside, taking something I made with Ada a while back, but was reluctant to use it since it would mean retiring my Sonic Wrench. Still, I came to realise carrying it around with me all the time was more trouble than it was worth. It was marginally bigger than a Sonic Screwdriver, which I had opted to switch to; however, to stay true to my profession, the design resembled a miniature wrench, making it look somewhat out of place, but I didn't care as long as it functioned.
I know what mist would thing than why make it resemble a wrench, well it's the first generation, I wanted it to resemble who I was and in simplistic terms I love building machines, it may change when I regenerate depending on what new quirks I get but for now this design reflects what I love, so it was what I went with, I also had a discussion hon the interior of the control room with Ada, and not surprisingly she was adamant on changing the interior to suit the incarnation just like the Doctors does.
Using the screwdriver, I set the destination for the Forbidden floor, or for those who use the number 13, yes, of all the numbers, to be a forbidden floor. It's floor 13, so I am not expecting sunshine and rainbows, just a whole lot of running.
The elevator ride is relatively quiet for the most part, with Alice asking a few things about what to expect. All I can tell her is that I don't know, unlike what most believe, I have yet to trigger future sight, like not even the system tells me how to activate it.
Seeing the future right about now would help plan what to do. The only reason I was able to prepare against the Master is that I had an idea of what he was planning, thanks to an episode of the show; however, this was never revealed in the show, making planning impossible without knowing what I was getting into.
Ding! Well that's the que for things to kick off into chaos, lets hope its chaos in my favour and not whatever lurks on this floor, otherwise its going to be a long day for me and Alice, maybe I should have ignore this whole thing but something inside me tells me I have to do something, perhaps I am subconsciously trying to emulate the Doctor having grown up watching the new who or maybe I have a death wish who knows but hey at least its impossible to run not something like Deadpool right.
