With everything ready, Alice and I begin looking for the monster, going through street after street. After about 2 hours of searching, we finally found it. Unfortunately, when we saw it, it was already attacking a victim. Having to think fast, I grab my Sonic wrench, pointing it at the monster while setting it to send sonic waves towards the air around the monster.
As for why it's because the sonic waves will cause the air around the monster to vibrate, I had learned that this monster was sensitive to vibrations be them from sound wave or from the air itself making it the perfect way to get its attention away from the victim who looked like the attack was resent meaning that he would live if I could get the monster away from him.
And boy did it work. The monster turned its attention to Alice and me. Seeing this, I quickly grab Alice's arm, then, turning around, I bolt away as fast as I can, not looking back as I can hear that the monster is following.
The monster was fast; luckily, I was quicker. However, I eventually had to pick Alice up and put her over my shoulder, otherwise she would have been caught. I must admit, though, it looks rather comical from a third-person perspective.
After running for thirty minutes, I arrived at the location where RB was waiting for us. The moment RB saw us, it started moving towards us, ready to engage the monster in battle. Just as the monster came into view for RB, it opened its mouth, launching tranquilliser darts at the monster. Unfortunately, the monster was more resilient than expected.
The monster moved at a fast pace, approaching RB and using its claws against it. Even with the added defence, the claw was still able to pierce through, causing a significant amount of damage. Luckily for us, though, RB was able to launch a few more darts before it collapsed to the ground, the monster following suit as its body could no longer resist the tranquilliser in the darts.
With the monster down, I take a TARDIS key from my pocket, what most don't realise is that these keys are not just keys they are connected to the telepathic circuits, allowing them to be used to engage the autopilot and call your TARDIS two you, this also means that another key for a Different TARDIS would not work with your TARDIS.
Within a few seconds, my TARDIS had materialised around me.
Putting Alice down I make my way to the exit, a small robot following, this robot was nothing more than a super muscle, its sole purpose was to carry heavy objects, I made it before I started the search for the monster, using this robot I transferred both the monster and the body of RB, I would fix him later and make some more upgrades that will make him better.
When they were transferred into the my TARDIS I close the door and head to the console, before setting of back to the house the Time crew had set up in. once getting there I open the door for the muscle robot to take the monster out what greets me is the crew staring at a man on the ground near the Time ship.
Unsurprisingly, the captain was on the floor. From the looks of it, he was paralysed, which means my assumption of this being a Wesker scenario was right " let me guess he tried to tamper with the drive again right" they all look at me as if I had grown two head before the vice campaign spoke "you knew he would do it, is that why you put the device in there".
I nod before speaking again, "I had my suspicions, but I had no evidence, so I put something in place to ensure I did not need to repair it again after I got back. I did not think he would be stupid enough to mess with something a time lord had repaired. It should be common sense that a Time lord like myself would ensure there was a way to stop tampering. We were at war with Daleks, who are masters at hacking and turning our tech against us." My word caused them to all go silent.
Then, after a few minutes, the look of realisation appeared on their faces, as if what I said made absolute sense. Only an idiot would not learn to adapt in war; otherwise, their fate would be to be the loser.
With that, the monster is transported back into the cell that was in the Time ship, while the captain is tied up and put in the cell opposite the monster. As for worrying about the monsters' ability to feed on emotions, the ship's cells have a dampener field that prevents it from using its ability.
With the monster transported it was time for them to return to their original position, as for their captain I had help them gather evidence on him by hacking his personel terminal for them, surprisingly I was able to do it with just my mechanical force, its at that moment I remember that the skill stated that it could improve by me but I have no idea how it grew stronger, for the moment. However, I focus on the task, and I will check the skill later.
With all the evidence I found, the captain was screwed, his career was ruined, and his life was over. It turned out that the captain was part of an organisation that worshipped the creature as a god. When he found out his mission was to transport it to a research facility for both its excision and dissection, he was horrified. He contacted his organisation, which quickly told him to help it escape.
After handing the evidence to the vice-captain, I left the time ship, walked towards Alice and River, who were waiting outside near my TARDIS. Walking over to River, "I speak. Shouldn't you be getting back, River? I am sure your guard would be panicking about now".
Alice looks at River after my words before speaking, "You're supposed to be in prison" River laughs before speaking, "Yeah, I am in prison for murder" Alice looks at her like she gre a second head, river on the other hand just shrugs at her surprise before speaking to me "see you around Mechanic" with that she used the vortex manipulator on her wrist, causing her to disappear, not before causing the air around her to vibrate violently.
"Dam vortex manipulator, who uses such a primitive method of time travel nowadays?" My words cause Alice to snap out of her shock at River being a criminal "That was primitive. What about time travel is primitive?" I laugh at her naivety before deciding to explain it to her in simple terms, " vortex manipulators take a violent approach to time travel, it's literally punching a hole from the point where you are to your destination, that's why it's primitive".
With that, we both head into my TADIS ready to start our vacation, which will hopefully be undisturbed this time. I even make sure with Ada that nothing is coming up; I don't want to get almost there and then have to change direction because something popped up. Once is enough, thank you.
Once Ada confirms that I can go on my vacation, I inform Alice, who does a little victory dance, which looks quite comical. With it all confirmed, I engage the dematerialisation and begin the journey to our vacation.
