It was a beautiful, Friday sunset where Ryan and Jessica were getting ready for a movie called, "A Dream". Jessica didn't answer when someone called, she knew who it was. Ryan was clueless as they continued getting dressed. Ring ring ring! Jessica still didn't answer and Ryan was annoyed at the phone's continuous rings. "Why won't you answer that, Jess?" asked Ryan. "It's my father," answered Jessica, her voice low. Ryan looked at her in shock, hesitating before speaking "The one who almost sabotaged our wedding?" he then asks…. a moment of silence passes by, as silent as a forest. It's been 3 minutes and she still hasn't answered, just a blank stare at the ground while Ryan looks at her.The phone finally goes silent. "Ryan?" Jessica asks as she looks at him, her face unsettlingly calm and her eyes sad. "It's time to let me go." she finally spoke. "What?" asked Ryan, his voice proving his confusion. "I want to be free." Jessica mumbled under her breath. Suddenly, Ryan wakes up, his hands shaking, his breath uneven as he looks around the silent room only to find nothing, he sighs . "It's time to let me go…" are the words that haunt him the most.
