Chapter 24 - How many worlds

As Kadoc, Mash, Olga and Anastasia were sent flying by Ritsuka, they all looked at him

Kadoc just looked at him. "I thought you siad you will hold back"

Ritsuka just looked at them. "I am holding back"

Olga then spoke. "Jesus you are not even holding back on me and Mash and we are your girls, at this rate how are we going to learn Kai for me, Chakra for mash, Nen For Kadoc and try tear system of Magic from overlord to Anastasia"

Ritsuka looked at them. "Hey I gave you all the perk universal energy as blessing, you all can learn all of this"

Kadoc then looked at him. "That brings to my question, how many world's have you been through asn which are the ones interested you the most"

Ritsuka stopped and thinkrd for a bit. "A lot but there was a world I been through where I finally becane a god, it was 5th world the system call's it Dragalia lost"

Olga just looked at him. "Ok that is not game, anime of anything in our world, tell us about this world and your journey".

Ritsuka put away his key blade before. "Alright break then, I when went to that world the system tunred me into a kid".

Ritsuka continued, leaning back slightly as he recalled his journey. "In that world, Dragalia Lost, I started off as a kid, but it was like being reborn as a royal prince. The kingdom was filled with dragons, and they played a huge role in shaping everything there. The system had me form pacts with different dragons, and the more pacts I made, the more powerful I became."

Mash, still dusting herself off from being thrown earlier, perked up. "Dragons? That sounds intense."

Ritsuka nodded. "It was. The world was in constant conflict, and the royal family I was born into was at the center of it. There was this ancient power that could awaken in the bloodline, something called 'Dragonblood.' It allowed us to transform into dragons ourselves. That's when I realized the system wasn't just making me strong, it was turning me into something... else."

Anastasia, intrigued, asked, "And what about the magic there? Was it different from what we know?"

"Yeah, it was. Magic in Dragalia Lost was heavily tied to elemental forces, especially through the bonds with dragons. Fire, water, wind, light, and shadow—each element had its own set of spells and abilities. I learned to master all of them. But more importantly, the system unlocked something deeper within me. That's when I gained divine powers, ascending to a god-like level."

Olga raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "So you became a god... in a world filled with dragons? That's overpowered, even for you."

Ritsuka smirked. "Yeah, well, it wasn't easy. There were constant battles, betrayals within the kingdom, and enemies from other realms. But by the end of it, I had unified the dragonkind and the human world, effectively ruling as a divine figure."

Kadoc shook his head. "And here I thought our world was complicated. You've seriously been through this many worlds and systems?"

"Yup, and each world had something unique to offer. After Dragalia Lost, I moved on to another one where time-traveling knights were a thing—got involved with them too."

Olga leaned forward, still curious. "So, how does becoming a god there compare to what you are now? How much of that power did you bring back?"

Ritsuka thought for a moment. "The system adapts. It didn't let me bring back all of my divine powers—just some. But I kept the knowledge and skills I gained. The real advantage is the way I can understand and tap into different kinds of magic and energy. It's why I'm pushing you all so hard. You need to learn to harness those different powers—Kai, Chakra, Nen. All of it will become second nature."

Mash, always the optimist, smiled. "Then we'll keep training. If we're going to stand beside you, we need to be strong too."

Ritsuka looked at them, his gaze softening. "Exactly. And don't worry—I've got your backs. We're in this together, no matter how many worlds we end up visiting."

The group took a moment to rest, each one reflecting on Ritsuka's words. There was a lot to learn, but with him leading the way, they knew they had a chance.

Kadoc then looked at him. "So anyone interesting you found in that world"

Ritsuka smirked looking at him. "As my brother and someone I basically mentally said to be the Main Character, his name was Prince Euden my older brother, also before you ask I have all my powers from that world, sense my journey is over for now"

Kadoc just looked at him. "Alright tell us about the MC"

Ritsuka leaned back with a grin, clearly fond of the memories. "Prince Euden, huh? Yeah, he was something else. He was the youngest prince of Alberia, our kingdom, and honestly, at first glance, you wouldn't think much of him. He didn't have the flashy talents or the overwhelming power of some of our siblings. But he had something more important—heart. The guy was a born leader, even if he didn't realize it himself at first."

Kadoc, intrigued, leaned in slightly. "Sounds like your typical hero type. What made him stand out?"

Ritsuka chuckled. "It wasn't just his fighting ability, though he could definitely hold his own. It was his connection to the dragons. See, while most royals struggled to make even one dragon pact, Euden made several. The dragons respected him because of his compassion and willingness to fight for everyone—humans and dragons alike. He believed in unity, and that made him powerful in ways that couldn't be measured by strength alone."

Mash smiled softly, clearly understanding. "Sounds like he had a lot of responsibility on his shoulders."

Ritsuka nodded. "Yeah, and he carried it well. He wasn't perfect—he made mistakes—but he always learned from them. He was driven by the desire to protect his people and bring peace to the world. Even when things got tough, when enemies from other dimensions or gods tried to destroy our kingdom, Euden stood tall. It wasn't about him becoming a hero—it was about him bringing out the best in everyone around him."

Anastasia, intrigued by the mention of gods, chimed in. "Gods, you say? How did he manage to face beings like that?"

"With a little help from his friends—and from me," Ritsuka said, a playful glint in his eyes. "Euden was the heart of the group, but he had allies who matched his strength and will. One of the strongest was Zethia, our older sister. She went through a lot—betrayal, manipulation by dark forces, even losing her way—but Euden never gave up on her. Together, they formed a bond that allowed them to face gods and reshape the world itself."

Olga, still curious, asked, "And you were there the whole time? Helping him in the background?"

Ritsuka nodded. "I played a support role at first, guiding him and keeping the enemies at bay while he figured out his path. But once I grew into my powers, we fought side by side. Euden may have been the 'main character,' but we shared the burden of saving the world. And by the end of it, he'd become more than just a brother to me. He was a true hero."

Kadoc crossed his arms, musing. "So, you've lived through multiple worlds, fought alongside dragons, and faced gods. What's next?"

Ritsuka smirked. "That's the fun part—who knows? But whatever comes next, we'll face it together."

The group took a moment to absorb everything. Ritsuka's stories were always larger than life, but they knew that beneath the grand adventures, there were lessons about strength, unity, and growth. And with Ritsuka by their side, they knew their journey was just beginning.

Mash then spoken. "So what was the hardest battle in that world"

Ritsuka looked up as he thought of a particular dragon. "His name was Xenos, and I he was not all bad, even do I lost that fight".

Olga looked at him. "You lost that fight?"

Ritsuka sighed and looked at the group, a mix of nostalgia and humility in his eyes. "Yeah, I lost that fight. Xenos wasn't just any dragon—he was something entirely different. A being born from chaos, wielding power that far exceeded anything I had encountered up until that point. And no, I wasn't always this all-powerful Dragon God. Back then, I was still learning, still growing."

Mash, Olga, Kadoc, and Anastasia all focused intently as Ritsuka continued.

"Xenos didn't fight out of malice. He had a warped sense of balance. In his eyes, the only way to bring true peace to the world was through complete destruction and rebirth. He wanted to reset everything—to erase all conflict, all strife, by ending the world itself."

Olga furrowed her brow. "So, he was a villain with a twisted sense of justice?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Exactly. He wasn't evil, but his methods... well, they were catastrophic. And when I faced him, I thought I was ready. I'd been through so many battles by that point, facing other dragons, gods, and even dimensions collapsing. But Xenos was different. He was the embodiment of chaos, and his power was... overwhelming."

Kadoc tilted his head. "So how did you lose? Was he just too strong?"

Ritsuka paused, thinking back to that fight. "It wasn't just about strength. Xenos could manipulate the very fabric of reality. He turned my own power against me, breaking down everything I threw at him. It was like fighting a storm—no matter how hard I pushed, it just kept coming, tearing me apart piece by piece. And in the end... I failed."

Mash looked at him with concern. "What happened after that? How did you come back from something like that?"

Ritsuka smiled softly, recalling the memory. "Euden. My brother. After I lost, he stepped in. He faced Xenos, not with brute force, but with the heart that had earned him the respect of the dragons. Euden understood Xenos better than I did. He knew that Xenos wasn't just a monster, but someone who needed to be understood, to be reached. And somehow, he did it. He connected with Xenos in a way I couldn't."

Anastasia, intrigued, leaned forward. "So, in the end, it wasn't about power, but about empathy?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Exactly. Euden didn't defeat Xenos by force. He changed him by making him see another way. In a sense, we didn't win that fight. Xenos chose to stop, to find peace within himself. And that was a lesson I had to learn—that sometimes, even as powerful as I may become, the solution isn't always to fight."

Olga, reflecting on the story, asked, "Do you think you could face him now, with all the power you've gained since then?"

Ritsuka smiled, shaking his head. "Maybe. But I don't think I'd need to. Xenos taught me something important—that strength alone isn't enough to change the world. It's about understanding, about connection. And that's something more valuable than any power I could ever wield."

The group fell silent, contemplating Ritsuka's words. They knew their journey ahead would be filled with challenges, but with Ritsuka leading the way, they felt ready to face whatever came next.

Ritsuka then looked up. "I wonder what my brother and my friends are doing".

Kadoc them asked a question in his mind. "Ok so you said in many world trh system turned you into a kid why is that?".

Ritsuka just blinked and let our a nerves lap. "I don't know"

After hearing the answer the group felt like they got a slap to the face, as they just looked at him

Ritsuka's nervous laugh echoed awkwardly in the air, and the group just stared at him in disbelief. Kadoc, Mash, Olga, and Anastasia all exchanged glances, their expressions deadpan, as if they had collectively been slapped by the sheer absurdity of his answer.

Kadoc rubbed his temples in frustration. "Seriously? After all the stuff you've been through, the system just randomly decides you're a kid, and you don't even know why?"

Mash crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. "You'd think someone as powerful and experienced as you would have figured that out by now."

Olga, still processing the answer, sighed heavily. "Ritsuka, you're telling us that you've been through countless worlds, fought god-level beings, became a Dragon God, and yet... you never once questioned why the system kept turning you into a child?"

Ritsuka sheepishly scratched the back of his head, a small smile creeping onto his face. "Well, I just kind of rolled with it, you know? I figured the system had its reasons. Besides, being a kid again had its perks—less responsibility, more fun... sometimes."

The group just stared at him in silence for a moment, clearly unimpressed.

Anastasia shook her head in disbelief. "I can't believe this is the guy who's supposed to lead us."

Kadoc shrugged, smirking. "I guess being a kid suited you, huh?"

Ritsuka chuckled nervously again. "Yeah, maybe... but in my defense, when you're thrown into a new world every other week, some things just slip through the cracks."

Mash let out a long sigh. "Senpai... you really are something else."

Despite the odd explanation, the group couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Even though Ritsuka didn't have all the answers, they knew they could rely on him in the end—even if the system did have some strange quirks.
