Soulyphoth remained seated on her throne, watching Vergil with a calm expression. His question was quite direct, but there were a few things she needed to explain before talking about Mundus. Mainly because time within Samsara didn't work the way inhabitants of other worlds were accustomed to.
"Before talking about him, I need to explain something about this place."
Soulyphoth adjusted one of the golden strands of hair falling across her chest. Behind her, the enormous halo continued rotating slowly, while small white souls circulated among the tree's branches.
"Time in Samsara is different from time in the outside worlds. You've probably already noticed that, considering you've spent approximately six thousand years wandering through my domain."
