Among the glistening lights of cities stood a tall house composing a family. A whole lot of love and togetherness brewed in the family. Raiden White, a 17 year old boy bid a goodbye to his mother as he was hurriedly packing up to go to his friend's house for a sleepover. His 15 year old sister was begging for him to stay and help her finish her assignment. Alex, father of Raiden was scolding her daughter to do on her own.
Raiden couldn't help but smile at his family. He felt truly blessed to be born in such a good family. He glanced at his 5 year old brother and patted his head. Raiden bid the final farewell to his family and set off to another city where his friend resided. Although he said it was just a sleepover, he was planning to stay there for a week exploring the caves and mountains nearby. Just as he was buckling his shoes, a sharp thunder could be heard. Raiden knew it was going to rain. Raisen hurriedly looked for an umbrella as he was about to miss his metro. He could only find a weird umbrella with slightly large metal cone at the top. But beggars can't be choosers, so he tooked that umbrella and dashed off. He was running as his life depended on it. If he missed the metro, he could only get another one after 4 days. Then the trip to his friend's won't be worth it. While he was running off to metro station, sky blackened and rain drizzled down. He couldn't help but get wet because the umbrella was old and rusty and was hard to open. "Ah curses! OPEN YOU GODDAMN UMBRELLA. Gosh! I shouldn't have hurried and should have taken a better umbrella" cursed Raiden getting wet. Creak The umbrella finally opened and Raiden was safe now, or was he? You see, Raiden was the eldest son of the family given birth in the violent stormy night. He was named 'Raiden' because multiple lightening struck when he was born. He was the lucky charm of the family. After he was born, the business of Alex that was failing beyond repair, quickly began too bloom. He became a millionaire in a 2 months time. The relationship of Raiden's mom and Alex which was walking on a thin rope tightened than ever before. Multiple good things happened to the family. They believed Raiden was the reason the family is doing well all these years even though he did nothing.
But little did they know, the tale of the golden goose of their family was about to come to the end. The boy who was born in the violent night of lightning also died from a swift lightening. The instant the lightening hit the Earth, it killed Raiden, a 17 year old boy, a son of a helpless mother, a son of a brave but yet weak father, a brother of annoying yet innocent sister and a chocolate factory of a chubby 5 year old brother. In a quick moment, the pride of the White family reduced to ashes.
The family heard the news later on the TV. Cries and tears were everywhere. Many attended his funeral. Family got compensations. The lightning hitting Raiden quickly went viral. The media covered the Raiden's story. They interviewed Raiden's family. They got a lot of money for this. Even after being gone, Raiden served as a lucky charm for his family.
Even though his story was over on earth, it was soon to be begun on a distant planet of a different universe far away.
