After five days, Avon reached Xianzin. Again, in a similar fashion to Steela, the craft was given VIP treatment. It seemed like Xianzin was a body cultivation specialist planet. While approaching the planet he noticed how the particles' for mind cultivation went down and for body cultivation increased. As he got out, he could smell fresh air. The air was much purer than that of Steela or Earth.
Technology was incorporated but not to the extent of Steela, in fact it was not even like that of Earth's.
He asked a soldier near the spaceport regarding the meeting with the knight.
"The knight is stationed in Luohe city, go there and apply for a meeting"
Avon began walking towards the public transport. It was only a bus with not many in it. The average height on this planet seemed to be high. Avon saw so many people taller than 6 feet.
He also understand the reason for lack of transport, he could see people simply fly to their destination, just like his master Reveria was capable of flying. Avon knew nothing about body cultivation but he knew after one stage flying was possible.
He reached Luohe city after almost two hours.
He immediately went towards the city reception building and inquired about the knight.
"Do you have an appointment?" He was asked
"No"
"Then it is not possible for you to meet the knight."
"Can I make an appointment now?"
"Do you have a VIP permit under your name?"
"What if it is under someone else's name?"
"That is not acceptable, it needs to be under your name."
"...then how can I meet the knight?"
"The knight has stopped granting audiences to regular civilians. To meet the knight you must be a member of any of the four great sects. "
"And how do I become a member?"
"You pass their entrance exam once you are over the body evolution stage."
Avon was irritated, he could not let the same things that happened on Steela happen again. He didn't have so much time!
"Tell me this, if someone comes from another planet and is not as proficient in body cultivation, how do they meet the knight? "
"The VIPs from other planets are allowed meetings if they show their permit. Since you do not have one you must join one of the sects. "
Avon walked off without saying anything. Was the knight here a heretic too? He had no way to confirm uless he met the knight.
He knew nothing about the stages in body cultivation, but he thought that if he continued absorbing the mana around him he would be able to advance.
The city had many open spaces and everything was a little old-fashioned. Plus most of the people were robes.
He sat down below a tree and began cultivating with the method Reveria had given him.
After sometime he heard a voice,
"Little brother, why are you cultivating here and not in the chamber?"
Avon opened his eyes and saw a man standing before him. Behind him a woman who had a black veil on her face.
The man was dressed in yellow and the woman in purple.
The woman and black hair and was completely covered in purple attire. Only her neck was not covered and he could tell she was fair skinned.
Avon could tell from the man's face that his question was genuine.
Hesitating, Avon spoke,
"I am new here...I do not know the chamber you are talking about"
The man's confused face turned into a jovial one suddenly.
"I thought so! I told you didn't I Zia, he is an outlander. Little brother, in the cultivation chamber the mana density is much higher and you can cultivate much faster in there. It costs just a few coins to book a room."
"Oh..thank you for telling me. I would have wasted my time otherwise. I need to cross the body evolution level as soon as possible."
"Then little brother do you have some breakthrough pills ready?"
"Hm? What are those?"
Looking at the man's expression Avon knew he asked one question too many.
"Little brother do you not know anything about cultivation?"
The water was already spilled, no point hiding anymore.
"Not really..."
"But you were cultivating just now, and you were absorbing mana so well.."
"I have my circumstances....I was being taught but soemthings happened..."
"I see, I won't pry further. Little Zia here is also going to the chamber, why don't you go with her. She had plenty of pills too."
The man pointed at the woman beside him. Then he turned towards her and asked her,
"You can help him right Little Zia?"
"Yes uncle"
She answered in a sweet voice.
"Thank you both" Avon said as they had just met him but were helping already.
"Don't mind it little brother , don't mind it. Then I shall take my leave. Please guide him Zia"
Saying so the man left leaving the girl with him.
"Little brother let us leave."
The woman told him and she lead him towards a huge building.
Inside there was a reception. The receptionist showed them a price list for various chambers. Avon pulled out coins enough for both of them to get the highest chamber for an hour. He had already exchanged some stones in the craft for the local currency.
" Little brother I can't let you pay for me too"
"No, no it is fine. You are helping me so much, please accept this. If you need more than an hour in there let me know. "
Then they went to their respective rooms and Avon could feel the difference. By the time one hour ended, Avon felt like he was hitting some kind of limit.
After exiting the room he found the woman and approached her,
"Little brother, did you feel the difference?"
"Yes, umm how many I address you?"
"Call me elder sister Zia "
"Okay, sister Zia I am feeling some kind of limit...what do I do?"
He couldn't see her expression clearly he could tell she was surprised. He looked like some illiterate to her right now.
"You are feeling like that because you are nearing a breakthrough brother. Here eat one of these pills and continue cultivating. I suppose you don't about the stages too?"
With a weak smile he said, "yes.."
"So body evolution is the first major stage with 3 minor stages. So your first two breakthroughs will be easy to overcome but the third will be difficult. After body evolution, you have soul evolution. After that there is Awakening stage, master stage and manipulator stage. There are many minor stages between them. Each stage holds its own significance. By the end of Body evolution stage your body will be in its peak condition. Your stamina, strenght and power will be extraordinary. After sould evolution stage your soul will have matured and capable of strengthening it's existence. It is very difficult to do this. The stages above are even more difficult and very few can do those."
Overloaded by the information Avon could only say,
"Oh....I see....."
