Nathan's body tensed up. He could see the information move from the contract back to Evelyn's body.
The curse seemed to be able to sense it as well and tried to detach itself from the contract and go back to Evelyn's body.
Anubis and Qilin activated their power at the same time, creating a barrier to stop the curse.
The curse was corroding the barrier, so Nathan had to erase Evelyn's information before the curse returned.
Nathan took a deep breath. With Evelyn's status in front of him, Nathan stretched his hand and pressed it with his thumb.
Nathan wanted to swipe the word 'Lavender' from her name. As one would expect, it was actually not possible.
"Your blood!" Qilin shouted.
Nathan nodded, bit his thumb, and smeared the blood on the 'L' first.
"Argh!" Nathan screamed in pain. The moment the 'L' was covered by his blood, an excruciating pain spread from his thumb to all around his body. It was as if he were being punished by the world.
