Zei stared at the briefcase in Dr. Nezu's hands. After a brief moment of thought, he understood.
"So he's found a way to properly dispose of the Zidar Gas."
Meanwhile, on Nezu's end—
"Silla, thank you. I didn't expect you to still retain your reason... Let's fight side by side!"
Dr. Nezu, panting, gently patted Silla's head.
"BEEP-BEEP!!"
Silla let out a cry in response, as if acknowledging Nezu's resolve.
Then it flapped its wings and accelerated.
"ROOOAARRR!!"
Ghidorah bellowed in rage upon seeing another troublesome monster approach.
Why did this planet keep spawning pests to stand in its way?
Why couldn't these pathetic creatures just accept death and become his sustenance?!
The more it thought about it, the angrier Ghidorah became. It unleashed a storm of golden lightning to strike Silla down from the sky.
Seeing the barrage of lightning surging toward it, Silla flapped its wings hard and twisted its body midair, performing evasive maneuvers that no fighter jet could replicate.
It dodged several bolts.
But the sheer volume of lightning was overwhelming, and several bolts struck Silla's body.
Blood poured from its wounds, and its movements slowed drastically. Even hovering became difficult.
"Stop it!"
Seeing this, Rena immediately fired her laser cannon.
She didn't know why this monster was helping them—but it was clear they were now fighting on the same battlefield, with the same enemy. That made them allies—and no ally should be abandoned.
Munakata saw Super Swallow-1 fire and immediately fired the Texas Cannon to support as well.
Several energy blasts struck Ghidorah's heads, but to little effect.
Worse, it enraged Ghidorah. Part of its golden lightning lashed out at the Super Swallow Jets.
This time, the two aircraft couldn't evade in time and were struck down.
Silla, too, wasn't faring much better.
After enduring several rounds of attacks, it could no longer stay aloft. It began to fall.
"Silla... Silla..."
As it plummeted, Silla seemed to hear a familiar voice—its master's voice.
That long-lost voice sparked something within.
In the next moment, Silla's entire body burst into radiant light.
Though gravely wounded, it regained strength. Wings stretched out wide again, and it soared into the air, charging toward Ghidorah!
Bathed in that dazzling light, Silla now looked like a phoenix of fire!
And oddly enough, for a fleeting instant, a small girl seemed to appear sitting atop Silla's head.
"ROOOAAARRRR!!!"
Ghidorah paused, stunned by Silla's sudden transformation and return.
But quickly, it roared again and began charging a gravity beam to destroy Silla.
However—
A powerful energy beam suddenly shot in from behind, slamming into Ghidorah's central head.
The impact was strong enough to shake its head violently and halt its energy charge.
The other two heads managed to fire—but the gap created by the central head allowed Silla to dodge the blast.
Ghidorah's middle head quickly turned around to see who dared attack it.
Up above—the Atlantis had arrived!
The beam was fired from its Max Power Cannon!
"Atlantis?! Who's piloting it?!"
Horii exclaimed in disbelief.
"It's me—and Dr. Yatsuo."
The voice came through the communicator—it was Norio.
Inside Atlantis, Norio and several crew members were busy working the consoles, keeping the ship stable.
"Director Zei ordered me and Dr. Yatsuo to deploy Atlantis for support. I was worried we wouldn't be much help—but I guess I was wrong."
Norio grinned with pride.
"Hmph. This thing's my masterpiece,"
Dr. Yatsuo scoffed beside him.
"Never thought I'd be the one to weaponize the Max Power System."
He sighed.
He had long believed that using the Max Power System as a weapon was a mistake—but now, it seemed necessary.
With Earth's crisis worsening, weaponizing the Max System had become essential.
For the first time, he was glad he had created it.
"The firepower is even stronger than when we attacked Mechanical Island. King Goht's particle beam cannon theory was applied perfectly."
Dr. Yatsuo commented while reviewing the output data.
Since acquiring King Goht, TPC's scientists had been researching its tech.
Inspired by King Goht's signature move—the Particle Beam Cannon—Dr. Yatsuo had enhanced the Max Power System. Today, it was paying off.
He then looked at the screen again and saw Silla drawing closer to Ghidorah.
"Dr. Nezu... Whatever you're planning, do it now."

As Silla closed in, Dr. Nezu stood atop Ghidorah's neck, looking down at the briefcase in his hands.
"All this time, I didn't know how to destroy the Zidar Gas. No matter how hard I researched, I couldn't find a way. But now... I've finally found it."
"Take it, you overgrown beast!"
With all his strength, Dr. Nezu hurled the case into Ghidorah's left head's mouth.
"Silla! Go—get out of here!"
Nezu shouted.
Upon hearing the order, Silla quickly turned and flew away.
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!
The next second, a massive explosion erupted from Ghidorah's left mouth.
The sheer force and radius of the explosion were devastating.
The blast wave tore through the left head's neck and overflowed through its jaws, sweeping into the other two heads.
And that wasn't the end—shockwaves kept expanding, growing to over a kilometer, then ten kilometers in size!
The sky trembled and rippled with intense heat.
Fortunately, the explosion halted a kilometer above ground—sparing the surface from devastation.
Inside the Atlantis, Norio stared in disbelief at the aftermath of the blast.
"My God! What kind of weapon was that?! That range, that power!"
"That was the Zidar Gas."
Dr. Yatsuo knew exactly what had happened.
"The briefcase Nezu threw in... the amount of Zidar Gas inside it was enough to wipe out a third of Japan. Thank heavens Ghidorah's head was high enough—and that most of the blast stayed inside its body. Otherwise, the ground would've been annihilated."
He wiped a cold bead of sweat from his brow.
