Ghidorah's three dragon heads were in motion—two were charging up their gravity beams while the center head greedily absorbed the spirit energy rising into the sky.
It could sense a terrifying attack was coming. It had to interrupt it before it was too late!
"Stop it, now!"
Captain Megumi shouted anxiously.
The two Super Swallow Jets were firing lasers and missiles non-stop, bombarding Ghidorah.
But this level of firepower had little effect. It only caused a few sparks on Ghidorah's thick hide—completely insufficient to disrupt its actions.
"Damn it, if only King Goht were here!"
Horii exclaimed, frustration in his voice.
Even if King Goht couldn't defeat Ghidorah, it would definitely be able to interrupt its actions.
The jets alone were just not enough to restrain Ghidorah.
"Is this really the end…?"

Ghidorah saw the Spirit Bomb dodge its attack and flew into a rage.
Now all three heads opened their mouths, preparing to unleash a combined gravity beam strike.
Daigo's heart raced—Ghidorah now knew exactly what he was doing.
There would be no dodging next time.
Should he unleash the Spirit Bomb now?
Was its power sufficient yet?

Just then, several fireballs came flying out of nowhere, slamming into Ghidorah's eyes!
The sudden ambush forced all three heads, originally aimed at the sky, to lower and halt their gravity beam charge.
"Eh?"
Victory Team's members froze in surprise, unsure what just happened.
They turned toward the source of the fireballs—
—and saw something that stunned them.
A monster was approaching, spitting fireballs at Ghidorah as it advanced.
Strangely, on the monster's chest was a device identical to Dyna's color timer!
It was none other than Gaidi, the monster partner of the Ultra Stone statue from the ancient ruins!
"A monster? Why is it showing up now?!"
Horii exclaimed in confusion.
"And it has the same thing on its chest as Dyna…"
Rena added, equally shocked.
"Did it sense a threat to its own survival and come out to defend itself?"
Munakata speculated, puzzled.
Inside Dyna, Daigo also noticed Gaidi.
He couldn't help but feel curious.
Gaidi turned to face Dyna, as if it could see straight into Daigo's soul.
Their eyes locked—and suddenly, a wave of understanding surged into Daigo's mind.
"I see... so you're a companion of the giants as well."
Daigo murmured in realization.
Gaidi then turned back to Ghidorah and launched more fireballs at its remaining heads.
Forcing them to lower and halting both the energy absorption and beam attack.
"ROOOAAARRR!!"
Ghidorah's center head let out a furious roar at Gaidi's interference.
It lunged—headbutting Gaidi and sending the massive creature flying.
Even with Gaidi's size and toughness, Ghidorah's brute force easily launched it dozens of meters away, crashing it into the ground where it rolled uncontrollably.
With Gaidi down, Ghidorah's side heads once again lifted toward the sky, targeting the Spirit Bomb.
Just as the center head turned to rejoin them—
—BAM! A large figure suddenly leapt onto its neck and wrapped its arms around it!
"What is that now?!"
Horii cried out in disbelief at the new massive entity.
"Hey, you overgrown lizard! You think you can wreck my village?! I'm from Obiku, and I won't let you destroy it!"
It was none other than Obiku.
His beloved home had been ravaged by Ghidorah, and he was burning with righteous fury.
Even though he was no match for Ghidorah's power, he would fight—to protect his village!
Obiku sat atop Ghidorah's central head like a child throwing a tantrum, wildly flailing his fists and pounding on its eyes.
All the while, he fired fireballs from his mouth without pause.
"ROOOAAARRR!!"
Ghidorah's central head grew increasingly irritated.
Obiku wasn't causing much damage, but it was like having a buzzing fly stuck to its face—infuriating and impossible to ignore.
The dragon twisted its neck repeatedly, trying to shake Obiku off.
But Obiku held on tight, refusing to let go.
He kept blasting fireballs, refusing to back down.
"RAAAAGGHHHH!!"
Enraged, Ghidorah's center head released a surge of golden lightning from its neck.
The electric current surged through Obiku's body, bursting sparks from every joint.
Unable to hold on any longer, Obiku finally fell from the neck and crashed to the ground.
Ghidorah's head then twisted and smashed into Obiku, sending him flying even farther.
With no more interference, the three heads aimed at the sky again, mouths open, preparing to fire their gravity beams.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!
A piercing birdlike cry rang out from the distance.
A massive avian creature was flying toward the battlefield.
"Another monster?!"
Horii was floored.
He couldn't believe it. Even now—at the edge of doomsday—monsters were standing up to help.
His worldview was being completely rewritten.
"Wait... there's someone on its head?"
Captain Megumi noticed something unusual on the screen.
Zooming in, they saw an elderly white-haired man atop the monster bird's head, clutching a large metal briefcase.
The entire Victory Team command center watched in shock.
"That's Dr. Nezu!"
Zei exclaimed in astonishment, recognizing the figure immediately.
"And that briefcase—is that the Zidale Gas?! What's he doing?! Doesn't he know how dangerous that is?!"
Yoshioka cried out in disbelief.
