However, the barrier failed to stop the gravitational beam.
The beam passed through it as if it were nothing but air, and struck Dyna head-on.
BOOOOOM!!!
Under the overwhelming force of the blast, Dyna was hurled back over a hundred meters, crashing violently to the ground, his body wracked with pain.
In that instant, his Color Timer began flashing.
Even though Dyna possessed theoretically infinite energy, sustaining such massive damage caused the warning light to activate.
"Ugh… ugh…"
Daigo clutched his chest, coughing up blood as he struggled to control Dyna's body and looked around.
All around him, the buildings had been devastated.
Dukemon Crimson Mode lay collapsed in the distance, seemingly unable to rise.
And King Joe SC had been blown apart entirely—Shinjō's status was unknown.
"No… I can't hesitate anymore. If this keeps up, the casualties will only get worse!"
Faced with such destruction, Daigo finally made up his mind.
Even if it left a bitter taste in his mouth… he had to act. Otherwise, there'd be no going back.
With his resolve firm, Dyna forced himself up, grimacing through the pain. He scanned the area quickly—then locked his gaze onto a nearby mountain.
Without hesitation, he fired a laser at it!
But just as the beam was about to strike the mountain, one of Ghidorah's dragon heads swooped down and ate the beam whole.
Then it turned its gaze toward Dyna.
Their eyes met—and the sheer pressure of the stare made Dyna unconsciously step back.
Then, the dragon's mouth opened again—this time spewing lightning that struck Dyna square in the chest and knocked him down once more.
Meanwhile at TPC
Director Sawa, Commander Yoshioka, and several other high-ranking officials entered the Victory Team's command center.
"Deploy all available aircraft immediately! We can't let this monster run wild!"
Commander Yoshioka wasted no time issuing orders—very much the embodiment of Showa-era decisiveness.
"No! That monster—it doesn't seem to have a physical body!"
Noroi interjected in a panic.
He quickly typed on the keyboard, pulling up the previous combat footage on the main screen.
The Zeperion Beam… the missiles from King Joe SC… all of it had passed clean through Ghidorah's body.
"This monster can hit us, but we can't hit it. We have no way of harming it!"
Noroi revealed the troubling results.
"What nonsense is this!? How can something like that even exist!?"
Director Sawa was visibly stunned.
"It's true… our instruments all report the same thing. It's like it doesn't even exist in our world."
Noroi continued, exasperated.
"Enough with that absurdity! It's clearly attacking us! How can it not exist!?"
Yoshioka wasn't having it—his voice thundered in the room.
"I don't know either! I even ran satellite scans. The results say the same—it's like it's just a projection."
Noroi's voice trembled.
"If that's the case, then… are we just supposed to sit here and take it?"
"There's no other way to fight back!?" Yoshioka fanned himself anxiously.
The idea of being helpless—unable to counterattack—was maddening.
"Eh? A video from Dr. Tango?"
It was only now that Noroi noticed the message notification from Dr. Tango. Part of the preview indicated it was marked as an emergency.
Connecting the dots, Noroi opened the video—and was immediately shaken by what he saw.
"Everyone, look at this video!"
Noroi sent it to the big screen and pushed it to everyone's communicators.
The footage showed Masaki Keigo encouraging his cultists to call upon Ghidorah.
Then his shadow twisted into the shape of Ghidorah, devouring the shadows—and thus the lives—of the cultists.
Once all the followers had been reduced to dust, Masaki looked toward Dr. Tango.
Then the shadow of the dragon lunged toward him, sending the doctor screaming in terror.
The camera tumbled to the ground, and the video ended there.
The footage left everyone watching it in stunned, horrified silence.
"Don't tell me… this Ghidorah was summoned by that man!"
Munakata stared at the rampaging monster in disbelief.
At the moment, Ghidorah's attention was still fixed on Dyna, so it had temporarily ceased attacking other locations.
"How the hell was something that huge summoned!? Wait, isn't that Masaki Keigo? He was a genius!"
Ijuin exclaimed in shock as he recognized the man.
Just then, the video feed on the Falcon's monitors suddenly changed—hijacked by a live broadcast of Ghidorah's rampage.
Not only there—every TV station, every home, every screen in the world was now showing a live feed of Ghidorah's destruction.
"Oh my god! Someone hacked the global network! Now everyone, not just our country, can see Ghidorah's attack!"
Noroi cried out in alarm—TPC's systems were compromised as well.
"They hacked every system!? Who could even do that!?"
At that moment, Masaki Keigo sat calmly before his laptop, crystal laid beside it.
With his intelligence alone, hacking the global network would be impossible.
But with the aid of that advanced crystal technology—it was effortless.
"All of humanity, behold… the apex predator at the top of the food chain… a god from a higher dimension… Ghidorah the Star-Eater."
Masaki Keigo's voice echoed across the world through every screen and speaker.
No matter the timezone, people everywhere awoke in confusion and horror, staring at their TVs.
"All life and civilization in the universe exist to serve Ghidorah. Even so-called guardian deities like Dyna are powerless against him!"
As he spoke, he displayed close-up footage of Dyna being beaten, highlighting his pitiful state.
Then he cut to a majestic, towering shot of Ghidorah.
It was the first time most of Earth's people had seen such an enormous creature. Even through the screen, they could feel its terrifying presence.
Many gasped and covered their mouths in shock.
"So our only path forward… is to offer ourselves to Ghidorah. Become a part of Ghidorah. Only then can we survive in this universe. Stop resisting, humans—accept your fate as Ghidorah's food."
Masaki Keigo spoke like a deranged cultist, his tone manic and fanatical.
Everyone who heard it broke into a storm of debate.
"What is this lunatic saying!? Being eaten and calling it 'becoming one'!?"
"Dyna will win! I know he will!"
"Really? Dyna looks like he's getting wrecked…"
"He'll win! He has to!"
…
"This maniac… he's going to destroy the entire planet!"
Munakata shouted, slamming his fist into the console.
"If this Ghidorah really was summoned by Masaki Keigo, then maybe… just maybe, he has a way to send it back. We need to find him!"
Ijuin said seriously, recovering his composure.
"But where is he?"
Munakata also understood the logic—but locating Masaki Keigo was another matter entirely.
