Chapter 108 - Chapter 105: This is what I live For!

The shockwave from the blast hadn't even finished rippling across the ruined battlefield when Tony Stark's voice sliced into the tense air.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., loop me into every active satellite in the hemisphere. I want full thermal, seismic, and electromagnetic visuals now."

His tracked Gojo with his armor as he blurs into the distance chasing after a flying Juggernaut, the idea of that thing being launched like a cannonball still short-circuiting his logic centers.

J.A.R.V.I.S. responded in seconds:

"Uplink established. Global feeds acquired. Displaying multi-spectrum overlay now."

Screens flared alive across the HUD inside Tony's new suit. Satellite feeds converged several angles catching Gojo mid-flight, the kinetic residue of Gojo's Red still unraveling across the sky. Alongside the chaos, images of the Brotherhood brawling amongst themselves flickered, the aftermath of Gojo's little psychic 'gift'.

Tony shook his head slowly. "You give one man a new toy and he attempts to break the continent with it."

"Put Fury on the line."

A second passed, the comm split. Static. Then the voice of Nick Fury came through like a storm in a steel drum.

"Stark. What the hell is going on in Westchester? We've got satellites picking up mountain-level damage, and it ain't nuclear."

Tony answered coolly.

"Okay, long story short? Gojo just bench-pressed the Juggernaut into the stratosphere after Spider-Man and I tried to lure him away from the mansion. The X-Men got knocked around, a few Brotherhood mutants went rabid thanks to a little Gojo 'brain tweak,' and now our new friend is out there stress-testing relativity on a living tank."

Peter, crouching nearby, piped up:

"Also, someone left me to pull half the school out of a collapsing tower. So... I vote we talk about that after we survive?"

Logan turned sharply, squinting at Peter. "You pulled a tower off some kids?"

Peter shrugged. "Super strength. Underutilized."

Logan blinked. Then just nodded.

---

Gojo tore through the air like a missile with space bending around him as he broke the sound barrier, the trailing compression funnel whipping clouds behind him into spirals.

Ahead, Juggernaut was midair still flying from the last impact.

Gojo's body rotated mid-flight. A sharp backflip brought his leg crashing downward, glowing with crimson Red energy. The kick connected.

The shockwave thundered and it carved through the clouds, warping the air in a crescent-shaped wave of visible distortion.

Juggernaut was launched downward at terminal velocity.

He crashed through the peak of a mountain deep in the forest range below. Boulders were ejected like bullets. Trees folded rubbles rained like a meteor shower.

Gojo teleported down and appearing above the devastation, floating effortlessly.

He scanned the area and as expected there are no towns or cities nearby or any civilization for that matter. Just crumbling rock and endless pine.

"This will do."

A laugh broke the silence.

Gojo looked down and saw as Juggernaut stood again. His breathing heavy but steady. His chestplate fractured, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth… and evaporating in the ambient heat.

Then… nothing, just like that he saw as Juggernaut effortlessly get healed

Gojo frowned, annoyed. Cain's regeneration was beyond what he expected. "So even direct compression and red blasts won't finish him…"

But then he smiled.

'What a wonderful opportunity.'

He moved in a blur of motion, a human meteor.

Juggernaut moved too and leaps forward, punching upward with thunderous force.

As they both closed in, Gojo's telekinesis bent the punch's trajectory just enough glancing past him as he brought both fists, burning with Red, down like hammers.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!.

They hit the ground.

A circular shockwave exploded outward, leveling the forest in a full kilometer radius.

Sound was split, rupturing in all directions, Trees were flung like arrows, distant mountaintops cracked, avalanches tumbling like grey thunder.

The earth shuddered. A massive crater, 630 meters wide, formed from the pressure alone.

Cain stumbled. Dazed.Blood gushed from his nose, splashing across shattered rock.

But he was smiling at the fun he was having.

Gojo winced. His knuckles fractured on impact, skin split and bones bruised.

But he was already healing up as both his hands steamed.

Gojo was about to attack again when suddenly, Juggernaut lifted one leg.

Gojo's brow twitched. He knew what was coming.

BOOM.

Cain stomped the earth. Debris exploded upward in a storm of rock and smoke.

None of it touched Gojo as his shield deflected every shard sliding around him like rain on glass.

He teleported up, spun in midair, and swept a gust of wind downward to clear the dust.

The smoke vanished but… Juggernaut was nowhere to be seen.

Gojo narrowed his eyes and turned his energy vision on. Then A shadow appeared behind him. He looked back just in time to see half a mountain was flying at him.

"...Now that's just Illogical," Gojo muttered. "I should've sensed that."

He slashed the air with telekinetic blades, carving through the rock mid-flight. Chunks scattered. He expected Cain to be behind it.

Instead… He felt something shift behind him. A pulse of kinetic force. He spun but it was already too late.

Gojo saw Juggernaut, body glowing red with absorbed kinetic force, hammered down with both fists.

Gojo barely reacted, activating Blue teleporting sideways mid-air.

But he saw crimson tendrils of energy curled around Cain's body with his energy vision. His speed jumped again like a slingshot. He kicked the air…

Yes. Kicked the air.

Gojo's enhanced vision saw it in an instant:

The red crimson energy of Cytorrak's power bent local physics. Cain's foot struck the molecular bonds in the air with such mass and kinetic force that the resistance pushed him forward. Every single one of his muscle was flexed as the air behind him imploded and creating thrust.

He was propelled.

Faster than Gojo expected.

Cain caught him mid-flip, massive hand seizing Gojo's ankle.

"Let's see what you sound like when you break," Cain snarled.

Gojo's leg was nearly crushed but he expanded the space between shield and skin. The pressure slipped off just in time.

But Cain wasn't done.

With a roar, he dragged Gojo down with their combined weight as a comet of fury.

The Impact on the mountain range detonated. Rocks shattered outward like missiles. A shockwave tore through the landscape. Chunks of stone the size of trucks were launched into tye sky. A chain reaction of collapsing peaks triggered across the horizon.

Gojo was embedded deep in the side of the mountain, buried beneath layers of rubble and molten stone.

Juggernaut landed, cracking the earth beneath him.

He brought his hands together

CLAP.

The resulting thunderclap shattered the nearest cliff where Gojo was embedded increasing the damage and bringing down the entire thousands of tons of rock on Gojo.

Then came the roar primal and deafening "THIS! This is what I LIVE FOR!"
