Chapter 109 - Chapter 106: Lightning armor

Deep beneath the tons of rock and debris there was a slight vibration of force as tye rocks start to shake, a shimmer rippled through the air for a moment catching Cain's attention. The formation then detonated outward in a burst of raw force. Rocks, dust, and debris screamed into the sky and rained back down. From within the epicenter, a figure rose, floating through the dust clearly pissed off.

Gojo Satoru emerged, his body steaming as if burning off the remnants of destruction. Tiny openings along his arms and sides mended themselves slowly, skin knitting together beneath the tattered fabric. His breath came steady and controlled. His chest rose and fell with calm power, and his glowing eyes fixed ahead with lethal clarity.

Across the field, surrounded by a landscape turned to ruin, the Juggernaut stood. His armor laced with cracks and yet he smirked at his toy for not easily breaking like all the others. He was happy for this moment, basking in the thrill of battle. His thrill was cut short when he saw the boy move his hands.

Gojo's hand rose, then another and then a third fluid motion as his fingers danced like a maestro conducting a cosmic symphony.

Three blue singularities bloomed into existence. One above. One below. One to the Juggernaut's left trying to rip him in all directions.

Reality screamed as the air pressure vanished inside the orbs, a vacuum so fierce the trees twisted like writhing serpents, the ground buckled, and light itself bent.

The Juggernaut reeled and tried to get a stable footing, caught in a trinity of collapsing space. Despite his enchantments, despite the magical force that fueled his relentless march, his body began to betray him. Blood surged from his nose and lips. Veins in his arms bulged and split. The pressure was slicing through his flesh, cracking his mystical durability with every second.

He moved or tried to. The space around him folded like a dying star, suffocating in silence as he struggled to resist the orbs.

Gojo didn't blink and watched.

And then, his thoughts clicked like tumblers in a lock as he saw the same strange energy wrapping around Cain again and noted a physical change in the behemoth.

'His energy's rising again…'

"Your mass is growing. But space doesn't care how strong you are," he muttered coldly. "It obeys laws I can bend."

The Juggernaut bellowed a laugh full of blood and pride as the energy leaked out and fueled his body. His shoulders stretched wider, arms expanding, the very plates of his armor groaning in protest as his form swelled and increased.

"THEN BEND HARDER!"

He surged forward, his immense form grinding against the collapsing gravity fields. Step by brutal step, he began to move.

Gojo's eyes narrowed. He raised his hand slightly, ready to amplify the gravitational force to maximum output to crush him flat when Juggernaut leapt at him forcing him to cancel the orbs of blue.

Gojo clicked his tongue.

"Getting faster again, huh? Must be leg day."

Without a thought, Gojo vanished in a blink teleporting cleanly away just in time and reappeared just behind the airborne Juggernaut as the massive brute crashed into the earth again like a meteor, tearing up another acre of soil and turning the patch of land to a cratered mess.

Gojo exhaled slowly and landed on the ground.

"Let's try something new."

The atmosphere responded instantly.

The air thickened, became dense and alive. A charge built around his form and immediately became sharp and electric. Dust floated, weightless, as static surged from stone to stone. A high-pitched hum filled the silence.

Gojo's arms dropped to his sides.

His head tilted slightly.

And then it began.

His hair lifted on end, each strand alive with static. Blue-white arcs snapped across his skin, glowing brighter with every second. The electricity danced like spirits unleashed from his body. The ground beneath his feet began to crack and burn as the dirt vaporized.

His entire body pulsed with jagged threads of lightning. Gojo smirked and felt hyper as the electricity filled his every nerve and danced inside his vein.

'Shit, this feels more like super steroid'.

A living conduit of power.

A storm given human form.

Just as Cain was about to say something, Gojo disappeared.

There was absolutely no warning. Just a boom that shattered boulders and painted the earth with scorched rings. A vacuum left behind imploded to fill the space he

Just left and a streak of ozone and fury.

A heartbeat later, thunder split the sky causing Juggernaut to look up and reflected on his eyes was judgement.

High above, like Zeus casting judgment, Gojo reappeared elbow drawn back, lightning coiling down his arm like a dragon.

And then he fell building momentum along the way.

Like a divine retribution.

He plummeted from the heavens, cloaked in white-blue fire, trailing arcs of lightning in his descent aiming straight for Juggernaut with a strike that would test the world's limits.

The Juggernaut looked up wide-eyed, a flicker of instinct flashing in his bloodied grin.

But it was already too late.
