Joe after leaving Love went to where the party was, he knew that his biggest issue when he got there was going to be being able to find Rufus, but somehow, he would get it done. The drive took him a moment even with GPS because of traffic, it then took him another ten minutes to find parking before he got out the car.

As he moved down the road, he just followed to other people he could hear talking about the party, apparently, they were there to see Hendy. Joe didn't see the point in being near the guy, with the information he had on him he didn't even want to be in the same room as him.

He actually was only here for two reasons, one was the fact that Delilah would be here, the second was that he needed to get the medicine for Will. Getting to the house it wasn't hard to just walk right in, there wasn't anyone watching the door or anything, so he was able to just go in.

Looking around he saw that the party was mild at best, there were some people who were doing lines out in the open, but he just shook his head as he saw that and ignored it. Maybe not so mild.

Going inside he moved around while looking around at the people, but he didn't see the guy who played Rufus on the top floor, so he was most likely in his sex area like last time. He walked into the main area after passing some women in bikini and stood by the rock wall while bringing out his phone, he waited a moment but still didn't get a reply back.

"Apartment three?" Delilah asked as she looked at him.

"Oh, hey Delilah, what are you doing here?" He said with a smile while looking her over, she did look good in her dress.

"Is this party gonna get any more weird? What happened to your hand?" She asked while looking him over with a raised brow.

"Accident with a friend." He said smiling even though he knew she didn't really care because she was already looking down at her phone.

"Oh, you're really not from here. I asked, but I actually don't care. I've been up for two days chasing that whole Jared Padalecki thing, but he's been laying low, so I kind of detoured here to find this hairstylist, Kido. Word has it he can confirm..." She started in making him chuckle.

"Well, you should know that I was also just using New Yorker politeness, I really don't care what you are doing here, you are a big girl." He said while chuckling and looking at his phone to see if he got a message back from Rufus.

"Wow New York, I thought you were nicer than that." She said with a smile looking away from her phone and back to him.

"Then you have never met a real New Yorker, we are only nice to those that we see as family. Seeing as this is maybe our fourth conversation that does not apply to us." He said while thinking he would just need to go down and meet Rufus since he didn't seem to want to answer.

Delilah looked as though she was about to answer but she looked passed him and looking over he could see Hendy was walking over towards them, "Delilah. Hey, long time." Hendy said as he got next to them.

"You look great." She said with a forced smile, which caused his southern instincts to kick in as he moved closer to her. Joe might have been all New York but he still had his Texan southern gentleman inside of him, so he knew with her feeling threatened he should protect her, even if she didn't want it.

Delilah looked at him but didn't say anything.

"I look like a walking red-eye from Pittsburgh, but you look great. What are you doing here?" Hendy asked with an easy smile on his face.

Joe watched the play by play until Hendy finally decided to acknowledge him, which all he got was a smile as Joe didn't really care for him at all. Knowing who he really was made him sick just being in the same room as him, he was mentally thinking of adding him into the next game.

(A/N: Looked back on my John Kramer game mission from the other chapter. Decided to change it so here it is.)

Joe took a quick look at the mission and knew that he could use Hendy as another player, it would just basically be killing him sooner than he was killed in the original show. Plus, it could help him with getting the reason out there sooner, Joe already knew where the photos were hidden, and plus he wanted nothing bad to happen to Ellie.

"That looks bad, do you think you will need surgery?" Hendy asked while looking at his hand, Joe just blinked at him as he didn't bother to answer.

From the corner of his eye, he could see Delilah smiling as he refused to answer anything that Hendy was asking.

"Hendy!" A woman called out grabbing his attention and breaking the awkward tension that was going on between the three of them.

"Uh... excuse me, guys. Great to see you, gorgeous." Hendy said while throwing a smile towards Delilah before he took off.

Both watched him walk away before Joe finally spoke, "That guy makes my skin crawl."

Delilah smiled as she looked at him way different than what had happened in the show, "Yeah, at least you aren't like everyone else here who seem to want to ride his dick all the way to being famous. I mean he had one thing that jump started his career other than that he is nothing, his stuff is all horrible."

Joe nodded while looking to the side where someone was making a drink, when he heard it was for Rufus, he knew it was his time to take off, "Well, this has been fun, but I am here to pick something up, so I will catch you later." Joe said with a smile while he began walking away, "Oh and hey Delilah!" he called out.

She turned to him with a raised brow already planning to leave as he was walking away from her, "Yeah?"

"You look stunning in that dress." He said with a smile, she sent him a smile back before walking away.

Joe followed the person holding the drink before he stood to the side and waited for him to walk back up, it took a moment and when he did Joe finally walked down, "Umm, Rufus?" He asked just wanting to make sure it was the same person.

"Oh, you found me." Rufus said with a smile.

"Yeah, umm..." Joe was just about to speak but Rufus did before him.

"Hey, lose the clothes if it's all right. Hope you like Air Supply. I'm kind of kind of on a ballad jag right now." Rufus said while turning on a record.

Joe was not letting that happened and pushed through this as he did not want to deal with this guy, he was not interested in sex, he was just here for the medicine then he would leave, "Umm, you got the wrong idea. I am just here for Will's medicine; he really needs it."

Rufus paused and chuckled, "And here I was about to blow you."

Joe didn't know what to say to that, so he said nothing, instead he watched as Rufus took the package out of his bag before he tossed it to him, "Thanks man. And umm, enjoy getting blown or blowing someone."

Rufus laughed, "Will do!"

Joe soon left not wanting to be a part of the party anymore, "Hey, wait up!" Delilah called out as she ran up to him, which was kind of hard in the heels she was wearing.

"Hey, need something?" He asked with a raised brow as he unlocked the car door.

"Yeah, I was wondering if I could catch a ride back to the apartments with you, I mean clearly you have something else to do, but still..." She said while trailing off as she looked down at his finger which he still needed to get to the hospital for.

First, he needed to meet up with Jasper to get the missing piece though.

He looked her over but then nodded, "Sure, hop in."

Although he was in a rush he went ahead and decided to give her a lift, they drove in silence until he decided to mess with her, turning the radio on he chuckled as the opening played, "You ass." She chuckled as the opening lines started.

Joe chuckled as he sang along, "Hey there, Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance

I'm right there if you get lonely

Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice, it's my disguise

I'm by your side."

He nudged her with his elbow as the next part went on and he could see her lip twitch, but she was able to hold off not singing, which just caused him to sing louder. She burst out laughing as he was off key, but she was enjoying it

Finally, she decided to join in, "A thousand miles seems pretty far

But they've got planes, and trains, and cars

I'd walk to you if I had no other way

Our friends would all make fun of us

And we'll just laugh along because

We know that none of them have felt this way

Delilah, I can promise you

That by the time we get through

The world will never, ever be the same

And you're to blame."

They were smiling as they sung it, Joe liked her smile it was different than the ones she has shown him so far, this one was more carefree. It was the type of smile she had never shown until the later parts of the show, he was glad that he could bring it out earlier in her though.

After some more singing they finally pulled up to the apartments where she sat still for a moment, "Thank you. I...Well, I wasn't having such a good day after running into Hendy at that party, thank you for making it a little bit better though."

Joe smiled over at her "Anytime."

Before she got out, she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, it was just in time for Ellie to see it too.
