Joe walked out of the hospital with a smile, thankfully the surgery was so small that he was able to leave three hours after the surgery. He really didn't want to spend the night there, plus Love had messaged him about dinner, and if her cooking was portrayed accurately then he would love it, no pun intended.
Joe had nothing else to do but he did need to decide how he was going to do the next game, he will admit he was a little too hasty when he grabbed Jasper, because how was he supposed to get him in it now. Not that he couldn't but there was a higher chance of Jasper knowing it was him who was the killer when the time came.
Of course he could do the game without audio, but there was not fun in that, really, he would figure it out before it happened, there was no point in thinking of it now when there was nothing that he could change at this moment. Sighing he would think of that later for now he was going to go get a meal from a woman who he really hoped was his girlfriend.
They hadn't really discussed if they were together or not, but he was hoping they were as it would just make things a whole lot clearer for him, they weren't playing hot and cold after all.

Joe arrived at Love's and popped a pill in his mouth, they worked like wonders, he wasn't trying to be high for this talk, but he was trying his best not to feel the pain in his hand. Even from where he stood on the front porch, he could smell the divine food that was coming from her house, his mouth watered at the thought of eating it.
Lifting the hand with the uninjured hand he knocked on the door, he didn't need to wait long as Love opened the door with a wide smile, she looked beautiful in light blue summer dress, way different than the show, "Hey, I am glad you could make it." She said getting on her tip toes and kissing his cheek.
He smiled down at her as she pulled back, "Are you kidding me? I wouldn't miss being here for the world, plus I get to eat your cooking again. This was a no brainer."
She beamed at him as she brought him into the house, she also took a look down at his hand and smiled softly up at him, "I am glad that you finally got that fixed, I was prepared to kick your friend's ass if you weren't healed this time when we met."
He chuckled, he could see that instead of kicking Jasper's ass that it would have ended like the show with her killing him in the storage room, she was very protective after all. "Maybe next time he does something stupid you can do that." He smiled kissing the side of her head.
She nodded as she brought him the table pouring herself a glass of wine before looking at him, "I would pour you some as well, but you probably don't need them while you are on medication."
Nodding he agreed with that, there was no reason for him to be more out of it while he was with her tonight, he would rather just enjoy a pleasant evening in her company while enjoying good food and a few smiles, "You are probably right, I will take any form of juice that you have though. It smells amazing in her by the way."
She smiled as she walked over to her fridge and brought out what seemed to be lemonade before pouring him a glass, "Well thank you. I am glad you like the smell, hopefully you will enjoy the food just as much."
"I don't doubt it." Joe commented as he looked around the room when he offered to help bring the food she waved him off.
Joe could remember from the show that they didn't actually eat, he wasn't a hundred precent sure but he thinks that Joe was asked to leave before they could even get to the food. Something like that at least, he just remembers that this was a scene where they talked a lot about their relationship and why Joe wouldn't date at the moment.
He didn't have that same problem though, instead he was hoping that before this dinner was over that he could define his relationship with Love, he didn't want to leave here tonight not knowing what they were to one another. Having dinner together tonight was a good sign, though friends did that too, so he didn't really know what to think.
"Ready to eat?" She asked bringing his attention back to the table, he had wandered into the living room and was looking over the pictures that she had up of her and her friends.
Smiling he nodded as he took a seat near her, he chuckled on the inside when he saw that she had set a place at the table for him to sit anywhere, but of course he chose the one closest to her. She smiled at it too before they began to put food on their plate, it was a nice steak and his mouth watered at the smell of it.
"So, how was your day?" He asked as they were putting potatoes on their plates.
"Fine. I just worked then came home and..." She blushed as she took a healthy drink of her wine as not to answer.
Joe though smiled as he looked at her teasingly, "Came home and what? Did you come here and wait for me specifically?"
She turned away her blush getting deeper as she did so, he found her embarrassment cute, it isn't as if he found it creepy or anything that she was waiting for him, if anything it was a confidence boost to him.
Before she could take another drink of her wine he grabbed her hand smiling at her, "So, are we together or is it just me having one sided feelings? Because we haven't really defined what we are but I would like to do that."
Whipping her head to him she was no longer blushing as she looked at him deadly serious, he was sure he saw something glint in her eyes as she spoke, "Oh, we are together Joe. I don't make dinner for just anyone or invite them to my private time as I look for fish. I am in this one hundred precent if you are."
He leaned over kissing her cheek, "That settles that then, I am glad that is cleared up so I don't have to worry about it anymore."
She cooed as she leaned towards him, "Awe, you were worried. Joe that is so cute!"
He didn't move as she treated him that just rolled his eyes as he took a bite of his food, she settled in next to him leaning her head on his shoulder as she watched him enjoy the food he was eating. "Are you just going to watch me eat? Your food is going to get cold." He said pointing his fork at her own plate.
She pouted but sat up and began to eat her own food.

Joe paused in the middle of eating but smiled as he saw that, so far everything he had pulled had been great, well except the whistling so he was hoping that this would also be awesome. Also he was hoping for an amazing skill as the last thing he got was a Template of Neal Caffery, he was hoping it went back and forth.
"Did you hear me Joe?" Love asked drawing him back to her and away from the message in front of him.
"I'm sorry, I was lost in the food. What did you say?"
She rolled her eyes at him with a smile, "Flattery will get you everywhere. I was asking if you wanted to spend the day together tomorrow since we both have it off."
He paused thinking it over before nodding, "Yes, I have to do laundry in the morning then something early afternoon but we can get together after that."
"Perfect." She said smiling widely.
