"Here eat more." Mrs. Hu said placing food on Shen Mu's plate.
"Thank Missus ..." Mrs. Hu gave her a look.
"Mom!" Shen Mu corrected herself.
Su Li woke feeling her body weak. When Jiang Cheng got angry again at the fact that she went to the club and a random guy touched, she had kissed him to calm down but now she was paying the price.
Cheng Xiao opened a tiny crack to check if Xu Kai had left, when she saw it was clear she pulled the down.
"Done hiding?" Xu Kai asked.
Cheng Xiao had nothing to say as she hadn't thought of how she was going to act around him. She acted like a woman in lust last night when she was drunk, throwing herself in his arms and now in the morning she was going to act indifferent.
Xu Kai came over to the bed and sat down. "What were you thinking going to a club yesterday?" He asked.
"I was celebrating what else?" Cheng Xiao asked back.
"You call that celebrating?" He asked.
"Those men would have taken advantage of you, and you still think that there is nothing to it." Xu Kai spoke.
"They wouldn't." Cheng Xiao said in a low voice.
"It is none of your concern even if they did." Cheng Xiao added.
"None of my concern?" Xu Kai asked in disbelief.
"You are my wife, which means your safety is my priority. You might not accept me as your husband yet, but it still doesn't change the fact that you are my wife." Xu Kai spoke.
"I don't want to talk about this anymore." Cheng Xiao said looking away.
"Avoiding this issue will not make it go away. I hope you keep it in your mind that when you are still my wife, you are to act accordingly, if I see you again as so much as step a foot in a club, that day you will know." Xu Kai said coldly and stood up and left the room.
Su Li went to freshen up, she was going to meet up with Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao in a restaurant. Although they were all suffering from the hangover they decided since they got it together, they would cure it together.
Su Li came down the stairs after she finished changing her clothes. Jiang Cheng sat on the couch drinking water when he saw her walking down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"I am meeting with the girls." Su Li said walking towards him.
