"I am embarrassed beyond repair." Shen Mu said covering her face with her hands.
"Why, what happened?" Su Li asked.
"I met Hu Yiting's mother this morning." Shen Mu replied.
"What?" They both shouted in shock.
Shen Mu started by explaining how she acted while she was drunk, how clingy she was.
"When we walked down the stairs to go and eat breakfast, his mother stormed into the house in her pajamas." Shen Mu spoke.
"She just came straight from her house, what was even more embarrassing was how I was still wearing his clothes." Shen Mu added.
"Shame!" Cheng Xiao said in the middle of her laugh.
"Don't laugh!" Shen Mu said pointing a finger at the two of them.
"And here I thought that mine was the worst." Su Li said still trying laughing.
"What was your one?" Cheng Xiao asked Su Li after she managed to breath.
"I called my mother-in-law and said that her son was punishing me every night." Su Li said with a laugh.
"My mother-in-law called me this morning excited about her second grandchild. When I asked what she meant she told me word to word of what I spoke with her last night." Su Li said her face turning red.
"Wasn't she embarrassed when you told her about that?" Shen Mu asked.
It wasn't exactly ideal that the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law would be talking about what happens in the bedroom. Su Li and her mother-in-law had a special relationship.
"Well, my mother-in-law happens to be my godmother as well. So, while I was drunk, I forgot that she was no longer just my godmother." Su Li explained.
"Hu Yiting's mother wants us to get a marriage license by the end of the month." Shen Mu said with a sigh.
"A month?" Cheng Xiao and Su Li shouted once again in shock.
"She wanted today we go and register the marriage." Shen Mu spoke pulling them back to their seats.
"I told her that I couldn't without my parent's approval which was why she pushed it to the end of the month." Shen Mu replied.
"But I am sure mom will be happy when she hears the news." Cheng Xiao spoke.
"Mom? Do you two share a mother, but you have different surnames?" Su Li asked confusion written all over her face.
"No, her mother is my godmother." Shen Mu spoke.
"And her mother is my godmother." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Our mothers have been friends since they were in high school. We grew up together and have been friends since our diapers. We are more like sisters." Cheng Xiao explained.
"That explain why you guys are so close." Su Li spoke.
"But wait, if your mother finds out she will share with my mother, and then my mother will push me to get married as well and you know my situation." Cheng Xiao said in panic as she analyzed everything.
