ASHER P. O. V
"So far so Good Mr Slade" she said
' did l say something wrong' I thought we were getting along a minute ago but now she seems angry
'Any clue Ethan?'
'Not at all'
Hmmm well is probably nothing l turned around and went back to the car but 30 minutes driving l was blocked by a black mercedes and a tall guy stepped out
*Clicks tongue* "idiot"I said
"You know l heard that" Tyler said
"That's what ears are for "
"Also the smart mouth, she safe?"
"More than she was with you"
"Watch your mouth "
"Or what"
"You know l don't like giving threats after all action speak louder than words, am l right?" A dangerous glint flashed in his eyes
"I agree"
"Good, Now I would like to warn you: stay away from Alexia" he warned he walked to me menacingly
"And if l don't"
"As l said l don't like giving out threats but l'm warning you Asher Slade don't you dare come near Alexia again l don't trust you"
"Why don't you worry about the other threats after her and let me be after all l harbor no evil thoughts towards her"
"Then why are close to her all of sudden"
I didn't feel the need to answer so l turned around and went to my car
"I have nothing to say to you Tyler" with that l drove off
"What was his deal?" I pondered about it for a while
"Looks like l need to dig more deeper into Alexia and this time l'm doing it myself"
I drove to the my family Mansion
"Look who finally decided to show up" Clara said
"Clara not now, Asher we are happy you're here take a seat" my mother said
"Thanks mother but l have something to discuss with Father"
"Of course he only comes if he needs something" Allen piped in
"Says the freeloader" I snarled and went into the office
Immediately l stepped into the office a fast three blade knife was thrown into my direction, l caught it with two fingers
"Your reflexes never failed me" he said behind his desk
I stared at him flatly
"That weapon you hold is a Black Spade tool and it was used to kill the head of the Marsha's group yesterday"
I raised a brow
"I'm only telling you this because this is the first time the Black Spade is caught involved in the affairs of the world it has been years and this could only mean one thing"
"Derek is making a move" I muttered
He nodded
"And Pier isn't quiet either, l heard there's a storm brewing in the pack" Allen came in and we turned to face him
"You knew this day was coming Asher"
"But why now?" I whispered
They both turned to me
"Think about it, that Rumoured Prophecy about the girl at the time no one believe it but since last year signs of prophecy started manifesting"
"Yeah your right ,First was the meteorite,the next was the war and then the finally was the ....
"Destruction of everything both the innocent and guilty will suffer when a blood thirsty hybrid will come back for revenge no one will be spared" I said
"The only way to prevent it is on her 25th birthday where her powers will be awakened but also the day she will be weak and whoever successfully beheads her becomes the supreme ruler of all the supernatural" Allen said
"But till date the prophecy is still a baseless rumors since there wasn't any concrete evidence of how the girl looks like or when she was from. Why now?" Allen asked
"I still don't know" I answered honestly
"To me the prophecy isn't complete"
"I agree"
"You two aren't making any sense" my father chimed in
"Not yet" I walked out
"Going back so soon? And here l thought you would have dinner with us" Clara smirked
I glared at her and she turned her gaze
"Asher can l speak with you for a moment"
"Hmm" I nodded
My mother and l walked towards the balcony
"Your father, he .. he's not going to last long"
"Well....When nature gives it also takes back"
"I know that's not what l mean, what I mean is...."
"Mother we have gone over this a million times"
"And you are always so stubborn each time" she raised her voice then sigh

"I know l wasn't there and l'm sorry for that l'm sorry when they forcibly took you away from me l couldn't do anything but l miss my happy boy and l want him back" she cupped my face
"Sorry" I dropped her hands "that boy is gone" then walk away but halted at the door
"But l'll try with him for you"
She nodded
"That's already an effort" she smiled.
I opened the door to see Clara scrambling to her feet then smiled sheepeeshly I walked pass her and stopped at the doorway
"Since you are this jobless, l expect to see you on Monday at the family company bright and early no excuses"
"What? , Mom!!" She whined
"Listen to your brother"
"But l don't want to"
"You have to cause all your cards will be cancelled" I added
"What" she screamed
"You can't do that"
"Is already done"
"What , Allen?"
"Don't involve me"
"If this is how you'll behave come to my company instead where l can personally keep an eye on you" I said
"You know what? Working at the family company suddenly doesn't sound like a bad Idea after all"
"That was what I thought"
"What are laughing at" I heard her say to Allen.
"Asher why don't you stay for dinner" my mother said
I didn't want to refuse her so l nodded
"I need to call Alexia about my misery, she's the only one that can comfort me" Clara whined
"You do that while l search for snacks" Allen said
"Hi wassup" I heard Alexia voice and couldn't help listening to their conversation
"I have been forced to my doom"
I scoffed
"What what happened" Alexia concern voice said
"I have been forced to work unless my credit cards won't work"
"You know that actually doesn't sound that bad" I smirked at least she was sensible
While she was talking to Clara l heard that annoying voice
"Hey Alexia is this normal" I clenched my fist what was he doing with her
Judging by the phone call the idiot didn't know how to use dishwasher. Hearing their exchange l couldn't stay here and listen to it so l got up
"Something wrong Asher"
"Nothing l remembered l had something to do" with that l quickly left trying so hard to control my anger
