You Leng was doubtful. "Do you truly know the Sword Sovereign?"
Lin Moyu casually pointed. "One Sword Breaks the Heavens!"
A pure, fierce sword intent split space its force was not overwhelming, but You Leng immediately recognized the quality of the intent; it was exactly what he sought.
He instantly believed Lin Moyu. "You really are a divine figure, Elder Lin. Then, I entrust it to you."
Lin Moyu replied, "As is right. Her legacy shouldn't be lost. My own power is limited; all I can do is catch a few that slip through. The bulk will be up to you."
You Leng said, "Your help is more than enough; a few getting through now and then is no great problem."
Lin Moyu nodded. "Understood."
More sword cries echoed from a distance. You Leng immediately said, "That's another call for help I'll go support them."
Turning into a streak of sword light, he sped off to assist his kin.
Lin Moyu, having gotten what he wanted, continued to dispatch undead minions to help block the beasts.
What was shaping up to be a hard fought battle of attrition grew easier thanks to his intervention.
Soon they stabilized the lines, got reinforcements, and at the right moment Lin Moyu withdrew his minions, activated the Hidden Spirit Pearl, and quietly slipped away.
He left in haste, and in just two days was out of the Lower Domain core, unable to sense the Spatial Divine Mountain at all.
Only now did Lin Moyu finally relax.
His fist remained clenched, his heart a little excited not because of a new cultivation level, but from unraveling certain truths.
From You Leng's information, he learned that the Lower Domain Divine Alliance's mission was to guard the area, keeping giant beasts out of the Spatial Divine Mountain.

Both looked at Lin Moyu not disbelieving, exactly, but not daring to believe.

Lin Moyu went on, "…There's reasoning behind my guess. First, the World Shading Beast was extremely powerful even in your era, he wasn't yet dead. And, going by your accounts, he is almost impossible to kill; I can't imagine anyone who could.
