Chapter 4569 - Chapter 4569: You Really Are Both Skillful and Bold

Chapter 4569: You Really Are Both Skillful and Bold

The process of planting the "fruit" was smooth; the backlash from the Causality Ring was mild, and Lin Moyu handled it with ease.

With the help of the Causality Ring, Little Tree found the location of the formation quickly; in less than half an hour he had locked onto the right space.

Only a supreme artifact like the Causality Ring could accurately pinpoint the formation's space among tens of thousands of independent spaces.

Tree roots pierced the space, opening up a spacetime tunnel.

This time, the crossing was short, and in a moment, they arrived.

This space was not large a single, small spot floating in the void. Lin Moyu instantly recognized it as the location of Calamity Supreme's formation.

He drew chaos runes, activated the formation, and entered the core region.

Inside, a statue of Calamity Supreme turned around. A deep voice echoed: "You are here. I am leaving, then."

Lin Moyu chuckled, "Senior, you really are both skillful and bold."

The statue paused, Calamity Supreme's voice sounding again, "What did you say?"

Lin Moyu replied, "I meant, you were able to find a fitting independent space within the Spatial Divine Mountain for that, I'm impressed."

Calamity Supreme replied quietly, "It was done of necessity; don't admire me. For you to locate this place shows your understanding of space and formations is no less than my own."

Lin Moyu said, "You posed the riddle; I merely solved it. The challenge is not the same."

Calamity Supreme asked, "Is there anything else?"

Lin Moyu shook his head. "Nothing more. Good luck, Senior."

The statue turned, a spacetime tunnel opened, and he swiftly departed.

After he left, Lin Moyu let out a small laugh. "Truly bold."

Chaos Child and Little Tree didn't understand Lin Moyu's comment, but didn't ask either.

Lin Moyu began refining the formation.

Located within the Spatial Divine Mountain and near the mountain's core, it could endlessly draw on the mountain's power.

Spatial power is considered third tier one level lower than the powers drawn by previous formations but Lin Moyu knew that the power of the Spatial Divine Mountain was anything but ordinary.

He guessed Calamity Supreme understood this, which was why the formation was set there.

In other words, the location was carefully chosen.

The refining process was smooth; in only a few days, Lin Moyu had completed it.

He put away the formation and had Little Tree create a new spacetime tunnel to leave the Spatial Divine Mountain.

He left in a hurry, not wanting to linger.

No sooner had he exited than potent shockwaves came at him in force.

Little Tree reacted instantly, evading the aftershocks with spacetime power; Lin Moyu, who had already activated his Hidden Spirit Pearl, remained unnoticed.

Swords materialized in the void, exuding sword intent.

These sword intents were very similar to Lin Mohan's all derived from her legacy.

The Lower Domain battle still raged, with more and bigger battles than before.

Lin Moyu watched for a while and saw that nearly every sword wielder here inherited Lin Mohan's sword intent.

Sadly, they'd all gone astray, the sword intent now polluted and inauthentic.

The human cultivators of the Lower Domain held back the giant beasts, barring their way into the Spatial Divine Mountain.

Earlier, Little Tree said even if the beasts got in, they would be trapped and die inside the independent spaces.

But now Lin Moyu knew Little Tree had been half wrong: if the beasts entered, it wouldn't be a good thing at all.

The Lower Domain's True Supremes and Calamity Supreme were allies; on Calamity Supreme's orders, they guarded the Spatial Divine Mountain, repelling the beasts.

Though this wasn't fully confirmed, it would be easy to verify by speaking to the Lower Domain's True Supreme.

Lin Moyu was also curious about why Lin Mohan's legacy was here he knew she wasn't one to leave inheritances carelessly.

With a thought, he dispatched a horde of undead minions.

The Spatial Divine Mountain split the region into tens of thousands of spaces, and the Lower Domain cultivators rushed from space to space to fight the beasts.

Yet there were far more giant beasts than cultivators eventually, something would have to give.

A few beasts entered unchecked spaces and were drawing nearer to the mountain.

Lin Moyu sent his first wave of undead minions against them, intercepting the beasts.

Some beasts were tough, but even if not slain, the undead blocked their path to the mountain.

Serving as a commander, Lin Moyu continually dispatched forces to various spaces, blocking and destroying beasts.

The giant beasts of the Lower Domain seemed endless.

This was almost literally true: when slain, their blood mingled with the earth, soon raising new giants, their strength hardly diminished.

This was tied to the World Shading Beast; after all, the Lower Domain was its inner world. Lin Moyu could do little about this.

Suddenly, several spaces shattered, and the cultivators and beasts inside burst out together.

They had fought so fiercely as to break the spaces themselves.

On both sides were peak Perfection experts. The moment they emerged, battle broke out again, wildly fierce.

One shockwave after another swept the void. Sword intents writhed in the air.

There were ten beasts, only three human cultivators nearly evenly matched, but in numbers, the cultivators were overwhelmed.

Lin Moyu did not intervene there was no need; surely, the Lower Domain Divine Alliance had protocols.

Sure enough, one cultivator's sword intent exploded, rumbling far and wide.

Within moments, someone broke the void and arrived.

"One Sword to Sever the Dao!"

A savage sword intent fell, slaying two top beasts instantly.

The newcomer was an elite Perfection expert, almost at the level of a Quasi Supreme; wielding Lin Mohan's sword intent, though still lacking in purity.

Upon arrival, he commanded: "Leave this to me aid the other battlefields."

"Understood!" The three departed without delay.

He fought one against eight, utterly fearless, and within minutes slew all eight beasts.

As he was about to depart, Lin Moyu called out, "Wait a moment, friend."

He turned and saw Lin Moyu.

His brow creased; who was this intruder near the Spatial Divine Mountain so close to the Lower Domain's core and how had nobody noticed?

He soon spotted Lin Moyu's badge, recognizing the Central Domain's Grand Elder.

"You are the Grand Elder of the Central Domain? I don't recall anyone like you in the Alliance." He was polite, though; the title still counted.

Lin Moyu gave a small bow. "A recent appointment: Lin Moyu. And you are…?"

The other returned the courtesy: "Lower Domain, You Leng. Elder Lin, what brings you here?"

He spoke directly, without preamble.

Lin Moyu smiled. "On an errand for another; please don't take offense. As for who sent me, feel free to ask the Lower Domain's True Supreme they know."
