Chapter 4571: The Most Deeply Scheming Person
Believe it or not, Lin Moyu believed his own conclusion.
It was rare for him to be "stubborn" about something, but for this he had simulated and reviewed the possible explanations countless times, repeatedly looking for any point of doubt, and only then did he arrive at his answer.
With over ninety percent certainty, he was convinced his deduction was correct.
To this end, Lin Moyu had Little Tree and Chaos Child list all the powerful beings of that era, even ranking them by their own understanding.
Little Tree placed himself about thirtieth, and Chaos Child somewhere beyond fiftieth.
Chaos Child put himself at fortieth, with Little Tree at twenty fifth.
Their rankings varied a bit, but not too much.
Both of their lists agreed on the top three.
The most powerful was called Hun Tian Huang Long a divine dragon born of the power of primordial chaos, acknowledged as the ancestor of all dragons to follow.
He had almost no flaws; whether in defense, attack, or physical might, he was unchallenged. Only his soul was a little weaker by comparison, but still surpassed the second ranked Zhetian Beast.
The Zhetian Beast ranked second, as both agreed.
Before hearing their rankings, Lin Moyu had already known how strong the Zhetian Beast was, but hadn't expected it to be this powerful.
He wasn't just proficient in spatial power he had mastered it, able to wield space as easily as moving his own hands.
None who were devoured by him survived.
Like Chaos Child, he possessed an inner world legend said his inner world not only raised countless strong warriors, but far outstripped Chaos Child's own world.
The third was the Ancient Primordial Bull, a being who had pushed defense to its absolute peak.
While its attack wasn't remarkable, its defense stunned all who faced it.
It had faced Hun Tian Huang Long before; while the dragon struck repeatedly, the bull remained unmoved and unscathed.
It had also once been swallowed by the Zhetian Beast, but after a while was spat out, also unharmed.
If not for its limited attack, it could have ranked even higher.
From their descriptions, the Ancient Primordial Bull likely was ancestor to what later became the Chaos Bull.
At the time of Little Tree and Chaos Child's demise, all three of these were no longer alive.
They noticed upon recovering their memories in their era all these powers had fallen, replaced by the reign of the "Dao," nearly none surviving.
Once the Zhetian Beast obtained that unique flower, its soul left its original body and became the "Dao." There was a chance Hun Tian Huang Long was killed by him.
As for the Ancient Primordial Bull famous for its defense every living thing has a weakness; the only issue is locating it.
In Lin Moyu's view, with enough patience, even the Unbreakable Bull could be killed.
Little Tree asked, "If it's like you deduced, what do we do next?"
Lin Moyu responded, "He must be bound by some rules and unable to approach his true body, but if he wants to go further, he must regain it.
Earlier, the timing wasn't right, but now something from the deepest part of the Primal Wilderness has arrived, bringing chaos throughout the primordial world. This is his opportunity so he won't let it go."
"He's likely waiting for the most chaotic moment to act."
"As for Calamity Supreme, he's likely waiting for that moment too."
In the core of the grand array, Lin Moyu had remarked that Calamity Supreme was skillful and daring.
At the time, Calamity Supreme missed the hidden meaning, but observing his reaction, Lin Moyu deduced that Calamity Supreme likely knew the Spatial Divine Mountain was the "Dao's" true body.
By establishing his array here and continuously absorbing power from the true body, was he not truly daring?
Little Tree was taken aback. "Isn't Calamity Supreme just courting death by doing this?"
Lin Moyu smiled. "Not at all. He must have some assurance he understands the Dao's current state and knows he's safe; only then would he dare."
For depth of scheming, Lin Moyu ranked Calamity Supreme the third deepest he had ever met.
The ancient powers were mighty, but by depth of mind, still fell short.
"He must have a hidden ace, though nobody knows what it is."
"In the very depths of the Primal Wilderness, he must have found something that gave him real confidence."
"All his arrangements may seem uncertain, but he already calculated everything both us and the Dao have been made into pawns."
Lin Moyu's own eyes brightened at the clarity he was merely a chess piece, but now he could see the whole game and the unseen hand. The counterattack was drawing near.
Chaos Child asked, "That thing from the depths of the Primal Wilderness, do you plan to go after it?"
Lin Moyu smiled, his eyes shining with growing confidence. "My path is different from theirs. No matter what comes from that place, let them fight over it ideally until only one is left standing."
"I don't borrow external strength; I rely on my own power to break through myself."
"Otherwise, even if one surpasses heaven and earth, becoming the strongest, it's still impossible to escape the fate of annihilation when it all ends."
After discovering the existence of supreme beings, forbidden zones of life, and seeing the system in such a zone, Lin Moyu's perspective shifted.
Before, he aimed only to surpass the "Dao" now, that was not enough. He wanted to surpass even the supreme beings, to roam the forbidden zones.
His ambitions for the future rose with every step.
Having already mapped his future path, all Lin Moyu needed now was the right moment.
The nine domains he kept within his storage space, of which the five major realms were nearing perfection, while the other domains were growing rapidly.
The sixteen Silverlight Rabbit clansmen at the perfected level were all working to nurture new domains for him.
In what was once the Void Land, domain seeds were evolving into new domain prototypes, soon to become true domains.
Everything proceeded systematically; now, he just needed time.
What came from the depths of the Primal Wilderness had yet to fully reveal itself its impact on the Primal Wilderness was vast, but only just beginning to touch the wider chaos.
Judging by progress, there was still plenty of time.
After some thought, Lin Moyu decided, "Onward to the Primal Wilderness!"
He did not plan to visit the Upper Domain not to refine the final grand array.
If he did, he could lose the initiative if Calamity Supreme triggered his hidden hand in advance, Lin Moyu would have no recourse.
What he needed was enough strength only with true power could he adapt to any situation.
Returning by the Lower Domain spatial tunnel to the Central Domain Alliance headquarters, he then headed for the Upper Domain.
There were several paths to the Primal Wilderness; besides the four extreme directions, one could also enter from the Upper Domain.
He went to the Upper Domain not to refine the last array, but simply as a shortcut to the Primal Wilderness.
The atmosphere was tense in the four poles, but the Upper Domain was calm by comparison.
