Chapter 23 - ch 023 "Sister, you are so kind to me!"

When Chu Han walked into the room, he was shocked to see items signed by Yi Xuecheng all around him.

"Is that Yi Xuecheng's signed jersey?" he thought in amazement. He also saw a signed basketball and a full set of rare badges.

"Wow, am I dreaming?" he said, filled with surprise.

To make sure it was real, he pinched his cheek and felt pain. He knew he was awake.

Everything around him contained items he absolutely adored!

This set of badges is particularly difficult to acquire. He had wanted them for a long time! In the end, he managed to collect only a few pieces, and many more remain uncollected. Wealthy individuals are unlikely to sell them!

Chu Han hugged the items in his hands and jumped for joy. Even though he was just over eighteen years old, he danced with excitement like a seven or eight-year-old child.

After celebrating for a while, Chu Han began to wonder who had placed these items in his room.

My parents are still in the capital and haven't come back. Grandpa is ill, and the relationship between the three uncles and the aunts is not very good.

Chu Han realised that only Meng Yuxin really understood what he liked and took the time to prepare special things for him.

"That's right, only my sister knows I am collecting this set of badges," he said with a smile. He held the brocade box filled with badges tightly, feeling happy.

Chu Han quickly knocked on Meng Yuxin's door.

When she opened it, he gave her a big hug.

"Sister, thank you so much! You are the best! I love the gift you gave me; it makes me really happy!"

Meng Yu froze for a moment, her body stiff.

Chu Han asked immediately, "Sister, you spent a lot of time and energy collecting these, right?"

Meng Yuxin remained silent and did not respond. By not denying it, Chu Han confirmed that it was indeed her.

"Sister, you are so kind to me!" Chu Han exclaimed, beaming with happiness.

As Chu Han let go of Meng Yuxin, he suddenly noticed that her face looked a little pale. "Sister, what's wrong? Your face doesn't look very good."

Chu Han asked with concern, worried that Meng Yuxin might be unwell.

"It's okay..." Meng Yuxin avoided eye contact, keeping her gaze averted.

"Are you sick?" Chu Han inquired anxiously.

"I have a headache. The temperature has fluctuated a lot recently, and I might be coming down with a cold," Meng Yuxin replied.

"Do you want me to take you to the hospital?" Chu Han asked nervously.

"No, it's alright. It's just a little headache; there's no need for a hospital."

"Then I'll bring you the medicine box. If you still feel unwell, you should take something for it."

Chu Han quickly ran downstairs, grabbed the medicine box from Aunt Zhang, and hurried back.

"Sister, here are all the cold medicines, including ibuprofen and similar items. If you feel unwell, please take some," Chu Han instructed seriously.

"Um. Thank you," Meng Yuxin replied.

"Thank you? Why should I thank you? It's only natural for a brother to help his sister. It feels odd to be thanked! Besides, you gave me so many precious gifts; I should be the one thanking you!"

"Yeah," Meng Yuxin agreed softly.

Noticing that she looked genuinely uncomfortable, Chu Han said, "Sister, you should rest and sleep."

He didn't want to disturb her any further.

"Okay," She replied.

Meng Yuxin turned around and entered her room, closing the door behind her. She leaned against the door, her expression tense and not at all relaxed.
