Chapter 11 - Rebecca Collins

"Jayden just never learns." Ivy sighed as she turned to look at Rebecca who looked worried.

"Sister, is brother Jayden angry at me?" Rebecca asked.

"No, he's not... he's just a little angry today but not with you." Ivy replied as Rebecca nodded her head.

"Come, let's get you to school." Ivy said as she picked up Rebecca and headed for the gate.

Rebecca Collins was the second daughter of the Collins family and Jayden's half sister. Jayden and her don't quite have a pleasant relationship because...

Jordan and his friends Noah were busy at the gate, punishing anyone that came late. Jayden drove into the school compound as Jordan ran after the car to stop it since he noticed the driver was wearing their school's uniform.

Jayden got down of the car as he picked up his school bag, about to close the door when he saw Jordan staring at him.

"Is there a problem?" Jayden asked as he closed the car door.

"You're late and you broke one of the school's rule." He replied.

"I'm just two minutes late and what rule are you talking about." Jayden asked, he didn't even want to partake in this conversation but he also didn't want to cause a scene.

"You're not allowed to drive in."Jordan stated as Jayden smirked.

"Oh?is that all?" Jayden asked coldly.

"Yes and you have to join the remaining students to clean the school compound." He said as Jayden laughed coldly as Jordan stated at him confused.

"Listen to me, you have no right to tell me what to do so get lost!" Jayden ordered as he tried to walk away when Jordan grabbed him by the arm.

"I said let go!" Jayden warned as he stared at Jordan dangerously.

"No!" You have to listen to me!" Jordan stood his ground.

"I said-"

"Jordan, what are you doing here? Aren't you meant to be in class? And why are you picking fights with Mr Collins?" The principal asked as Jordan broke into a cold sweat as he released his grip on Jayden as he walked away.

"Actually...sir he came late and he drove his car into the school compound." Jordan explained.

"Enough Jordan, from hence forth don't interfere with anything that has to do with Jayden, whether he comes late or not, it's none of your business and also tell your friends to also mind their business, is that clear?" The principal asked as Jordan nodded in response.

"Well, head to class now." The principal said and walked away.

"Urrgh! Who the hell is this Jayden and where does he get all this from? It seems he wants a challenge, well challenge accepted because I won't back down now."

Jayden entered into the classroom as Joshua rushed to meet him.

"What took you so long?" He asked.

"I've been waiting all day, did something happen?" Joshua asked as Jayden replied 'no'.

"Fine that's good so I need help with the plan to get Ariana back."He begged.

"You see I had a chat with Annabel this morning and she told me to rekindle any special moment we had." Joshua said as Jayden suddenly frowned.

"Wait...whose Annabel?" Jayden asked confused.

"Actually she's my sister, she's your-" Joshua suddenly stopped talking and covered his mouth as Jayden stared at him.

"I-I wasn't supposed to say that." Joshua said.

"Wait, you mean the girl beside me is your sister?" Jayden looked suprised.

"Yeah, we're twins but nobody knows... it's only the two of us." Joshua replied.

"Oh but how come nobody knows, you literally bear the same surname?" Jayden asked.

"I know right but Annabel told me to keep it a secret because of my reputation." Joshua explained.

"Oh I see!" Was Jayden's only reply as he sat down on his seat.

"So what special moment did you two have?"

...

"Settle down class!" Mr Philips said as he scribbled the word 'test' on the board as the class groaned.

"But sir, we just resumed." Jessica protested.

"I know but it's a welcome test, to see how you all have been doing during the holiday, whether some of you were just playing your time away or if you were serious with your studies." Mr Philips said with a smile.

"And since the students from Royal High are also here with us, they will also be participating in the welcome test, to know where their ability lies." He stated.

"And make sure you perform very well because your scores will be made public." He said as the whole class protested.

"So you mean the junior students will see our scores?" A girl asked.

"Yes, they will so you have to work hard." He replied.

"So take away unwanted materials and bring out your writing materials, the test begins." He said as he went round to distribute the questions.

...

"OMG! That test was so hetic, I knew nothing on the paper, just ticked any answer that looked familiar." Jessica groaned as she walked out out the class with Tessy.

"We're so totally gonna fail that test." Tessy chuckled as she stretched her hands.

"So where we headed?" Jessica asked.

"I need to go see Jordan first." Tessy replied.

"I thought you two broke up during the holidays, are you two back together again?" Jessica asked. She wasn't suprise anymore because this wasn't the first time they had broken up for silly reasons. She could remember one time when the two broke up because Jordan didn't plan Tessy a birthday suprise and there was this other time when Tessy stood Jordan on a date. So all this wasn't new to her.

"Do you want me to grab you something at the cafeteria?" Jessica asked as Tessy shook her head.

"Okay, I'll see you after break." Tessy said and walked away.

...

"Wait! Don't tell me you told Jayden that we're siblings?" Annabel asked not believing what her brother had told her.

"But you promised no one will find out!" Annabel murmured.

"I'm sorry, it totally slipped my mind." Joshua pleaded.

"I'm truly sorry but I still need your help."
