"And so?" Sebastian asked.
"Sebastian why are you acting in this manner?" Sarah asked, she wasn't expecting him to behave in that manner.
"How do you want me to behave then?" He asked.
"Sebastian how can you be so self-centered and wicked? you've been lying all this while and all you give back is this nonchalant attitude." Sarah shot back.
"Shut up okay! I'm tired of doing what everybody wants me to do, I can't take it anymore it's like I'm a slave to Joshua and nobody cares about my feelings." Sebastian said as he flopped back on the couch.
"How can you say such, Joshua is your best friend." She says as Sebastian hissed.
"No, he's not, he only uses us, even his cousin Freddy."
"I don't know why you feel that way but I'm sorry and I need to know about the bet or else Joshua and Ariana will-" Sarah was interrupted midway as Sebastian groaned in frustration.
"I just said I don't want to talk about her besides I've told you many times to stay away from Ariana, but you don't listen, stay away from her she's only going to ruin our relationship." He warned.
"No she isn't instead you are the one whose ruining our relationship." Sarah insisted.
" I don't know why you've changed but you need to stop this before you lose all the people that care about."
"Sarah please leave!" Sebastian said as he paid no attention to what he was saying.
"Fine I'll leave, it's not like I want to stay here any longer." Sarah left angrily without looking back.
"Sir, should I go after her?" The butler asked Sebastian.
"Why are you asking such question? Please leave." Sebastian said as he placed his hands on his lap.
ANNABEL'S POV:
I woke up late the next day since I had to finish my diary entry. I got ready quickly as I headed downstairs for breakfast. I met mum at the dinning alone as I took my seat beside her.
"Morning mum!" I greeted her as I sat down.
"Morning dear, how was your night?" She asked as I replied fine.
"Mum where is Joshua? Isn't he going to school today?" I asked when I noticed he hadn't come down yet.
"He is actually waiting in the car for you." Mum replied with a sigh.
"he's been like that since last summer, he just won't open up to me and I hate to see him like that." Mum replied sadly as I held her hand to comfort her.
"Mum don't worry I'm sure he'll come around." I assured her.
"I hope he does."
...
"Why are you always late?'' Joshua asked Annabel once she got into the car.
"I'm only two minutes late." Annabel replied.
''mum is really worried about you." Annabel said softly.
"I know but I still can't tell her about it, I can't tell anyone." Joshua said as he shook his head.
"But you told me.'' Annabel stated.
"That is different, I'll open up to her once the time comes.'' Joshua said.
"So, any plans on how to get her back?" Annabel asked.
"Not yet, I'm relying on Jayden to come up with a master plan." Joshua replied.
"I was thinking that maybe you could maybe rekindle any special moments you two had together." Annabel suggested.
"Yeah, that sounds nice but how?" Joshua asked.
"Like Joshua ae you seriously asking me that question...bro you're the lover guy here not me." Annabel joked.
"That's not funny." Joshua shook his head as Annabel sighed.
"I'll be fine."
...
KNOCK!!KNOCK!!!
"Who is there?" Jayden asked. He cared less about who was at the other side of the doo as he straightened his tie properly.
"It's your sister Ivy.'' She replied.
"Come in." He ordered as she opened the door and came into view.
"You woke up quite late." She said as she dropped the tray of food on his side stool.
"Yeah, it's not like I didn't realize." He smirked.
"You don't have to be rude; I'm just looking after you." Ivy said as she ruffled his hair.
"You don't have too anymore; I'm not a child I'm seventeen." Jayden groaned as he tried to brush his hair again.
"But you're still my cute little brother." Ivy said with a laugh.
"Yeah! Yeah!" Jayden rolled his eyes.
"Well, have something to eat before going, the driver is waiting." She spoke.
"Tell him to leave, I'll go to school myself." He said as Ivy looked at her brother confusingly.
"But you promised not to or-"
"I'm just taking the car for a spin and if you don't trust me, you can just come along." he said with a shrug.
"Who takes a car for a spin to school?" She questioned.
"Well, I do." He replied as he grabbed his school bag.
"Are you coming or not? I'm already getting late."
"Fine I'll come with you besides I have an appointment with Adam." She spoke.
"Your boss?" Jayden asked her.
"It's strictly business." She replied as Jayden smirked.
"Can we leave now?" He asked.
"Yes but at least eat something." She persuaded.
"I'll order something at lunch." He said and walked out of the room as Ivy chased him from behind.
"Ivy? Jayden? are you two heading out?" A woman in her early 30's asked, a young little girl holding her hand.
"Where do you think we are going?" Jayden asked, snubbing her question.
"Jayden stop!" Ivy said as Jayden rolled his eyes.
"Aunt I have some errand to attend to, and Jayden has to get to school, we are already late." Ivy explained.
"Actually, a need someone to drop Rebecca off at school." She said as she handed Rebecca to Ivy.
"Ivy what is all this, I'm getting late for school and you're picking up some stranger." Jayden replied angrily.
"But Jayden she's your sister." She replied.
"She's not my sister, don't you see what this woman is trying to do." Jayden asked angrily.
"Ivy just get in the car and let us go or else I'll leave you and I'm definitely not picking her." Jayden said and stormed out.
