"But Annabel already likes Jordan." Jessica stated, she really wasn't understanding what her friend was talking about.
"I know, so there's no much work for Jordan to do." She smirked.
"You know Annabel will do anything just to have Jordan so now, I'm giving her the chance to have him."
"We both know well, the type of girl Jordan likes." Tessy said.
"He likes the innocent, shy type of girls which Annabel is, so it won't be long before he falls in love with her." She laughed.
"Besides it's final year, we might not see each other so while not have so fun before we go." Tessy laughed as Jessica looked worried.
"I don't really go well with this plan what if something bad happens or you start to like Jordan back?" Jessica questioned.
"No Jessica, it can't happen...the days of Jordan and I being together has already ended."Tessy explained.
"So how are you going to get the Royal High guy and how will you make him like you?" Jessica asked.
"Oh Jessy! You ask too much questions, you think I haven't seen you stealing quick glances at the other guy." Tessy scoffed.
"Wait...you mean Joshua?" Jessica frowned.
"So you know his name."
"Well, he told me at the restroom." Jessica replied.
"So you two are now like that?" Tessy asked surprised.
"No! I saw him inside the girls toilet and it seemed like he was begging the new girl." Jessica explained.
"Oh I see! That's why he was behaving strangely the first day he came."
"I think he has some unfinished business with her." Jessica suggested.
"I need you to find out every information about them, we could need it in the future." Tessy smiled evilly.
ARIANA'S POV:
The driver came earlier than usual. All day long, I couldn't forget what Sarah had told me. Why didn't mum tell me that Joshua had come to see me before we moved? Was there anything else she was hiding from me? Well if there was any, I'll make her tell the truth today. The whole ride home was silent and long as I looked outside the window, a hand on my chin as I thought of my life lately.
The car rolled into the parking lot as the maid came out to receive me. I got down from the car once it came to a halt as I picked up my bag and walked inside to see mum sitting in the dinning area, finishing up her presentation on her laptop.
"Mum?" I called as I walked up to her.
"Oh baby, you're back? How was school?" She asked, closing her laptop.
"Mum?" I called as I took a deep breath.
"Why didn't you tell me that Joshua came to see me before we moved?" I asked, staring directly into her eyes, not caring what her next reaction would be.
"You...who told you that?" She asked, avoiding my question.
"It doesn't matter who told me, why did you hide it from me?" I asked angrily, I couldn't believe that she kept quiet all this time.
"So you were going to forgive him, if I had let him in." Mum asked as I looked at her shocked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Mum you have no right to decide what I do with my life." I yelled.
"I do, I'm your mother and you'll have to obey me." She yelled back.
"You're not allowed to meet Joshua and his friends ever." She warned.
"And what makes you think, I'll listen to you." I smirked.
"You wouldn't dare! Because once this term is over, you'll be home schooled until your final exams." She stated as I looked at her in confusion.
This only meant one thing...
"You've been stalking me right?" I asked as I shook my head bitterly.
"So you've gone back to the way you were before, sending your guards to watch my every move, right?"
"I'm so disappointed." I cried.
"Enough with all the drama, get through your final year without any stress and it's good you know you're been watched because I-"
"It's because you don't trust me anymore, you never did...you know sometimes I wish I was never born like I didn't have parents like you." I lashed out.
"Ariana keep your sh*t together." Mum said as she stood up from her chair.
"I have guests coming."
"The Edwards are coming for a family dinner tommorow night."
"Wait...what? You've got to be kidding me?" I literally screamed.
"I've noticed you've been distant with your best friend and I want to fix things so I organized this dinner." She explained.
"She's not my best friend and how dare you organize this dinner without my permission?" I asked angrily.
"The next time you speak to me in that time again, I'll make sure to deal with you." She warned.
"Good night and I'm not coming for that dinner." I said and headed upstairs.
ANNABEL'S POV:
Dear diary, Today I forgave my brother for telling my identity to his friend and we talked it out. Jayden might be a cold and annoying guy but he sure is a good listener and some to easily pick on. Tommorow is the day, the tests results is going to be out. I know I didn't do well last term but I hope I'll get back to my usual spot because I know I did well on the test.
Good Night.
CROWN ACADEMY:
"Oh my! The tests results are out." Jessica announced as the class rushed out to see their scores on the board.
Annabel held her breath as she walked up to the board and behold she was at the second position. She felt like her world had crumbled down. She clenched her fists as she looked at her name and position again but it didn't change instead she saw 'Jayden Collins - 1st position'
"How could Jayden get higher than me?" She thought to herself.
"Annabel? Annabel?" Tessy called as she sashayed to where she was.
"Oh it seems Jayden passed you." She said sadly as she covered her mouth, laughing hard.
"Look darling, if I can't beat you, then someone else would have to eventually." Tessy smirked.
"And I'm happy it's Jayden... he's so smart and handsome and you... disgusting." Tessy wrinkled her nose at the word 'disgutsting'.
"You're not even meant to be seat with him even less seen, talking to him."
"I even went easy on you, I could have been second and then you'll be third but I decided to spear you the shame." Tessy laughed.
"You didn't, I only let you become first once and that was last session, it's not gonna happen again." Annabel said and walked away leaving Tessy rooted to the ground.
