Chapter 163 - "I am back."

Chapter One Hundred Sixty-Three:

Merwa Mountain

After Rishna talked to me, she return inside the cave while I decided to stay outside first because I just want to be alone first while thinking of the 'no choice' way to save Manu's soul. Until, Haimon came and asked me of what I am thinking.

"I'm afraid." I honestly answered. "And I'm loss of thoughts, Haimon." I added as I intently look at him.

Haimon approached me immediately and sit beside me then he put his arm around me.

"Even I, I am afraid of what might happen to you if that is the only way to save Manu's soul." He honestly answered.

I let out a deep breath before I leaned my head into his shoulder. "But what else can we do? I really need to save Manu's soul before he destroys the Earth."

Reinhardt's Mansion

"How are you feeling Lord Kanik?" Ozul asked me after I finally regained all the memories that I need to remember.

I turned to stare at him before I went out of my bed naked as a baby and walk through the window where I could see the outside. "It has been a long time and much has also changed in this world." I answered. "With the scale of the changing world, many of which I am already accustomed to."

"What do you mean, my Lord?" Ozul asked me with confusion.

"I don't think destroying the Earth will be the right thing to do at this time." I answered as I turned around and look him in the eyes. "My plan to ruin what my God Father did has now changed. Instead of destroying it, I want to rule everything and destroy everyone that will oppose my ruling."

"I will follow whatever you wish to do, my Lord." He said and bowed his head.

I turned around at the window once again. "And I think it is the time to visit my 'Dear Sister's Reincarnation'."

Merwa Mountain

"You can't go back to Kanik now, Wafi." Rishna said as soon as they met.

"But I still have to go back there because--"

"No!" Truman answered that cuts him off. "You know what might happen to you when you get back there! So, please, listen to Rish." He begged.

"Father, when I accepted this assignment, I knew firsthand what could happen to me. And I already accepted it a long time ago."

"But…" he deeply sighed. "Alright, do whatever you want." He replied before leaving them.

"Your father is too worried, Wafi. Why don't you just listen to us and do what makes you safe?" Rishna answered.

"I don't know. Kanik is still my friend even though he is the reincarnation of Manu. And for that reason, I wouldn't just be able to just leave him like that so I hope you do understand it."

"Even though death will come to you, are you ready for that?" Rishna seriously asked him.

Wafi smiled. "Yes. And as I told earlier, when I accepted this assignment, I already knew that death will always be a part of my decision."

Sky City

I sniffed the air carried by the whole city as I was in the highest place and overlooking the vast landscape of the Sky City.

"Isn't it amazing, Ozul?" I asked. "That the world that I thought would just remain unchanged is now showing great change. Change that I love the most. And right now, I want to rule this domain and I will never let anyone hinder my reign over the whole Earth. Not even my 'Dear Sister'."

"But what are we going to do now we don't know where Lady Shu Tokino is now?" he worriedly asked.

"Don't worry too much, Ozul. Because I know where she is now but because that place is protected no matter what I do I will never be able to enter that place. So, I will go and meet first the people I knew that done me wrong." I seriously stated.

"I will do whatever you command, my Lord."

"Good! Let's go and visit the Elders first."

Manu Tower Building

"Who are you talking about that came here without any notice?" Brennan asked after he received the bad news that someone had ruined the façade of the Manu Tower building.

"Sir, it was… Sir Kanik." The guard answered with fear in his voice.

"What was Kanik thinking?" Ashru asked as they speed up in the front door of the highest floor where their main office located.

Brennan immediately opens it only to be surprised of the change of the whole room.

"What did you do Kanik?!" Brennan asked in a high pitch.

When my full memory returned my ability to use magic also returned so I was able to change the top room of the Manu Tower to my liking. With a grand entrance, a path of red carpet on the floor I change the whole places into a castle like with a chair of a King and I am sitting on it right now.

"Welcome, Brennan, Ashru and Clay."

"Kanik!" Ashru immediately dismissed me after my greeting. "What do you think you did?! You no longer have respect for what you do!" he scolded me that I just rolled my eyes. "You––"

"Shut up!" Ozul immediately shut him off. "You're all disrespectful!" He added.

"What!"

"I don't think they remember me," I said. "Well, I couldn't blame them. I'm so far away from how I used to look that's why it's not their fault if they lose their respect on me."

"But my Lord…"

I raised my hand to stop Ozul and look at those three. "It's been a long while, Elders. And it seems that in the time we haven't met you have forgotten. But perhaps you will never forget the only person who gave you immortal life, right?" I said and I could clearly see their reactions as they finally get what I am trying to say. "Yes, I am back, Elders!" I announced.
