Previously on MBH:
Captain America nodded towards Hawkeye, who stood beside him along with the Shield-Taskforce. Hawkeye reciprocated him, understanding the cue. By working on numerous missions they both have developed some tactical understanding during difficult situations. They realised the current gravity of the situation, for the safety of the world the most important task was to stop Loki from blowing the Horn.

[POV TONY STARK]
"Hey Pepper!"
"Oh Thank God! Tony! Where are you now?!"
"Umm..I-I, I can explain!"
"Tony! Please tell me what's happening there currently?"
"Wait, Pepper I can sincerely explain… "
"Tony probably the whole world is watching the Manhattan-Invasion, everyone, including me. I feel so horrible by just listening to the news, and I'm really worried about you. Tony please be safe and come back alive?"
"Sigh! Yes, I'm in Manhattan but I'm safe, I just ..." *tut*
"Sir, the connection with Ms. Potts has been lost."
Tony looked up, gazing at the dust-filled sky, and spoke wistfully, "JARVIS, do you think maybe I shouldn't have come here today? Maybe Pepper wouldn't be worried about me. But …
Ah!! It's so frustrating why the hell I feel guilty and sympathy!! "
"sir, the energy reserve is depleting at fast rate due to leakages, major functions have been stopped and.."
"Never mind—just send Mark-9, let's show them my one week self-study." Tony abruptly cut JARVIS, not wanting to think more about his current situation.
"Hi, I can see you need help?" suddenly Tony heard a familiar voice, turning around he saw a man and woman in red and yellow suits appear in front of him.
This made Tony smile reminding him that he's not alone in this fight.
"How do you reduce the space between the interatomic particles?" Tony asked, as ideas were bouncing in his mind, while he neatly communicated with JARVIS.
"JARVIS pull up the data on loki's energy signature, I have an idea."
Before JARVIS could answer, a large explosion occurred, drawing everyone's attention.

(Few minutes ago)
[battle with Loki]
Captain America felt the weight of the world on his shoulders. In such precarious situation — where every move could decide the fate of millions. Not even a seasoned agent like Hawkeye, could hide his the tension from his face. But despite it all, they stood firm. They both knew, they had to fight against this Invasion. Their goal was already clear, and clear was the price they would have to pay if they failed; that is, millions of human lives.
Nodding to each other, they sprang up in action, Hawkeye was first to shoot an arrow towards Loki. His first arrow was destroyed by incoming magic blast, while the second arrow was blocked by the magical barrier.
Loki seemingly annoyed by the arrows, waved his staff and shot few more green-coloured magic blasts at Hawkeye and Captain and conjured large number of stone golems around him.
Facing the Incoming attack, Captain America stood before Hawkeye and blocked the magic blasts with his Vibranium shield. In-between, Hawkeye drew another arrow and shot towards Loki. While watching the stone golems, Captain America commanded the task-force to destroy the golems.
"Barton do you think it will work?" Captain America asked while punching the conjured stone-golem on his size.
"I don't Cap, we're talking about a Green-Magical-Alien here, If only he was like Jabba the Hutt." Hawkeye answered as he glanced at Loki, just seconds away from blowing the Horn. The arrow sprayed thick fluid on Loki which produced thick layer of foam. The magical barrier didn't react to the energy-absorbing foam thus, it started enveloping Loki.
"what nonsense is this! Insolent fools you'll pay for this!" Loki felt frustrated beyond reasoning. For him, those mortals really deserved gruesome death for trying to stop him.

'Just DIE already!'
It was their desperate clinging to lives that angered Loki. He hoped that killing these mortals would make them feel despair and hopelessness, and at last they will accept their fate at the hands of God of Trickery, mischief & lies.
While brewing out his sinister plans, Loki summoned magical fire to destroy the foam surrounding him and then waved his wooden-green staff to summon a group of large Dark-Ravens, which flew towards the Shield Task-Force.
Just the next second, a large missile came towards Loki, and exploded. The foam burned furiously catching the chemical fire from the missile, and Loki seemed to engulfed in explosion, shrieked in pain. While an arrow flew near him hitting the Hunter's Horn and making it fly away from Loki.

Hawkeye watched the explosion and solemnly spoke, "what do you think Cap?" While all the stone golems cornered them.
The fire was burning furiously while Loki's presence nowhere to be seen. Captain ordered the Taskforce to find the Horn before Loki may make his next move.
"I hope so too but Loki isn't a human. Looks like our weapons won't work. We'll need stronger backup!" Captain Steve Rogers spoke, as he was still worried about the situation.
"I guess, Captain doesn't consider me as a backup." A new voice complained in the coms.
Hawkeye chimed in hearing the voice, "Well Nat, it's good to hear your voice, I thought you were on vacation on Hawaii."
"It seems you guys can't handle things without me, so Fury called me back."
Clint whispered to Rogers, "she means that Fury canceled her vacation and judging from her tone, she's probably in bad mood"
"Natasha, how's the situation from above, can you see the target?" Steve Rogers asked, he felt increasingly uneasy about the situation.
"It's unclear from here, Captain" Natasha spoke, while she maneuvered the Quinjet to land.
Just as she landed near the battlefield, a magic blast hit the Quinjet burning one of its wing-side. Natasha jumped from the Quinjet, landing on the ground with a flip to minimize the shock. though with such height it was clear she's in no good shape.
Meanwhile the rest of the Taskforce gathered together to neutralize the otherworldly-alien-god called Loki.
Captain America spoke in comms "The aerial shot didn't work! We'll need more firepower. does anybody here has any ideas?"
Though Captain America asked no one responded as everyone was in dilemma about the situation, suddenly with a gust of wind three figures appeared, seemingly out of thin air, and one in red-gold mechanical suit spoke.
Iron-Man shouted loudly to all, "After this I'm arranging a party at my penthouse so who wants free limited edition drinks?" and then facing Captain America he spoke, "I have a solid plan, we need you guys for it, and that muscular-blondie too."
Captain America nodded, glancing towards Hawkeye for a moment and then speaking to Iron-Man, "Good! if it can work we'll gladly help. what do you need?"
Iron-Man nodded approving the way Captain relegated the strategic planning to him without a hitch, "we need you guys to buy more time, while we works on a thing to contain Loki."
Hawkeye spoke," if you can really do as you say, we'll try to buy as much time we can."
