Madam Cai smiled, "Sister Chow Yun may not know, our estate used to be an Imperial Manor. We deal with these furs because people above need them. Every two years, someone would come to collect the furs. In the beginning, everyone on the manor exhausted their efforts to obtain these furs, and many even lost their lives because of them.
"Later, people above feared they couldn't find good furs and would ruin their own prospects. So, they found a way to procure a secret medicine from the Imperial Palace, which allowed us to set traps on the mountain, then throw the secret medicine into the traps. If an animal falls into a trap and smells this secret medicine, it would directly faint. We would send people every day to check the traps in the mountains. Once they discovered an animal in the trap, the men from the estate would carry the things from the trap back directly, kill them, and then skin them for processing."
