Chow Yun sensed something, and asked, "Madam, what's wrong?"
"This medicine pill is mixed with human blood," Xiao Ruo said solemnly.
She didn't know if the human blood in the pill came from living people or was taken from the recently deceased, but she could ascertain that those people crafted this pill to successfully attract the fierce beasts, aiming to obtain the whole pelt!
Although Chow Yun felt disdain for such behavior, seeing her Madam so angry, she still whispered, "Madam, this is Feng Zhao Country; whether they use the blood of living people or that of the newly dead doesn't concern us."
"I know." Xiao Ruo sighed softly, "Even if this were Xilin Country, I couldn't intervene in this matter."
She just felt that it was one thing to use deceased blood, but to risk human lives for a few intact pelts was too hard to accept.
"Madam, should I throw away this medicine pill?" Chow Yun didn't want to keep the pill and upset her Madam.
