(Third Person POV)
Inside an abandoned building, three Disaster Curses sat in front of the man known as Suguru Geto.
"So what the hell are you saying, Geto?" Jogo said with a scowl, "Gojo Satoru isn't the only fucker we gotta worry about? I mean, the guy's strong as hell!"
"You must mean the other Special Grade Sorcerers...." Mahito said as he leaned back on a couch, "I heard they're not all here. One of them is out of the country and the other; she's nowhere to be seen."
Suguru Geto, or at least, the one who has his appearance, drank tea from his cup. Hanami, the other Disaster Curse, was merely standing behind Jogo without saying a word.
"Ah, but you see...." He said, "While my plan to seal Satoru is flawless, there is one that might cause us a big problem."
Jogo frowned, "Who?" He said, "I'll go and kill him right now."
"The one that Hanami avoided by a hair's breadth." Geto said, "The Head of The Gojo Clan....."
[A/N: I will refer to Kenjaku as Geto for the time being until after Shibuya when his identity is revealed.]
"You said the Great Clans wouldn't be a problem." Mahito said as he looked at him, "What changed?"
"Intel I've received." Geto said, "Human volunteers for the Doppelganger Ritual."
"The what?" Jogo said, "What is that?"
"Of course, you wouldn't be aware of that." Geto said as he set the cup down, "Mahito, you killed three of those volunteers."
"What? They were important?" Mahito frowned
"The Doppelganger Ritual is a powerful sequence used by an elusive and ancient Cursed Tool that was used in the Heian Era to produce an army of meat shields in order to combat Sukuna." Geto explained, "While I don't think it's being used for that today, the fact that the volunteers are being gathered, it proves that The Gojo Head is making a move."
"What does this Ritual do?" Jogo asked
"Basically, compatible humans are searched and when found, their blood is drained and used for the Ritual." Geto explained, "But....with today's advancement, that won't be necessary. I heard of another Cursed Tool that takes the properties of Blood Manipulation Sorcery in the hands of the Gojo Clan. My guess is he is combining those two abilities and using it for the Ritual, forming doppelgangers to use for whatever it is he would do it for."
"A Meat Army?" Mahito said, "That sounds fun!"
"These Doppelgangers don't have a soul." Geto said, "They're bound by the contract of the Ritual and will obey the user, in this case, Gojo Kiryu. If my hunch is correct, he'll either use it on you, Mahito or he'll use something else....I don't know what...Yet..."
"Gojo Kiryu?" Jogo said, "He's related to Satoru?"
"He's Satoru's younger cousin and the Head of the Gojo Clan." Geto said, "He's an unbelievably powerful sorcerer. He's an unofficial Special Grade, he refused the classification."
"How strong is this person?" Hanami decided to speak up through their minds
"Gojo Kiryu possesses the Limitless, similar to Satoru." Geto explained, "But since he doesn't possess the Six Eyes, his mastery is nowhere near his."
"Then why is he so strong?" Mahito said, "If Gojo is that powerful due to his Six Eyes and this man isn't nowhere his level, why is he that big of a deal?"
"Hm." Geto said crossing his arms, "You don't understand. There are Inherited Techniques and Innate Techniques. Inherited Techniques are those that are exclusive to a specific bloodline; for example, Cursed Speech with the Inumaki Clan and Limitless with the Gojo Clan. Innate Techniques are those unique to that specific individual that can be passed down through genetics." [1]
"What does that have to do with anything?" Jogo asked
"Kiryu possesses the Limitless, an Inherited Technique. That by itself should boost him to be a powerhouse, should he master it. Which he has, but nowhere near Satoru's level, of course. That man has taken it to absurd levels." Geto said, "But the thing about Gojo Kiryu is....He not only possesses an Inherited Technique, but an Innate Technique. Although I am not aware of its true specifics, it is one that he's mastered to the point he's feared and respected."
"Heh." Jogo said, "That ain't nothing to worry about."
"You don't understand, Jogo." Geto said, "Not only does he possess Limitless, which should be a problem by itself, but he possesses another Cursed Technique. Aside from that, his Cursed Energy is so high that it rivals Yuta Okkotsu, who was said to be the next coming of Gojo Satoru. And to top it off, his physical prowess was said to be equal to that of the girl who has the Heavenly Restriction, which is nowhere near Toji Zenin's peak."
"None of those names ring a bell." Jogo said, "I can kill him if you want."
"You can't." Geto said, "He won't be lenient like Satoru was, who was treating you like a weakling. Gojo Kiryu is ruthless and will not hesitate to separate your head from your body. He requires a plan similar to the one used against Satoru to deal with. Trust me, it is for the best."
"I can handle him, no?" Mahito said
"You're the last person I want him to fight." Geto said, "Gojo Kiryu is called the Shining Star of Destruction, Mahito. He's not someone you want to mess with, but worry not, I'll think of something. I hoped for him staying on the sidelines, like usual but if he makes a move, it will not be pretty. Many have tried to battle him but failed. He exorcised dozens of Grade 1 Curses in mere seconds, destroying them with ease. A Special Grade Curse ran away from him due to his mere presence."
"How strong is this guy?" Jogo muttered, "If you're so worried about him, we should gather the fingers and unleash Sukuna already. He'll handle this Kiryu guy."
"I don't doubt the King of Curses can handle such a foe." Geto said, "But it is Kiryu's ruthless and calculating demeanor when it comes to exorcising Curses that worries me."
"He has you more worried than Satoru, eh?" Mahito said, "I think you're overreacting."
"Hm." Geto said standing up, "You lot don't get it...."
He began to walk away from them.
"This body's memories....." He thought to himself as he walked away, "They make this body shake to its core when it remembers that Man.....And not just that.....his mere name makes the Curses shiver in fear..."
"That should not be possible...."
[1] I believe that Innate Techniques work like that, correct me if I'm wrong. Naoya and Naobito share the Projection Sorcery and I believe it was originally Naobito's.
