When Wei Anning woke up again, she heard music with a very Western cowboy vibe in her ears. She felt like she was in a car because it was jolting her quite a bit. She opened her eyes and saw the roof of an old jeep, and she sat up abruptly.
The driver glanced at the rearview mirror, "You're awake. I was just about to ask if you wanted me to take you to the hospital for a check-up."
Wei Anning looked at the driver in front of her, about forty years old, with a kind face, gentle eyes that subtly showed concern, and she said, "Did you rescue me?"
"Yes, I saw you passed out by the roadside, so I saved you. I checked you over and found only minor scrapes on your body, no other injuries, so I didn't take you to the hospital."
Wei Anning smiled gratefully at him, "Thank you! Where are we now?"
