Even at her most disheveled, Wei Anning had never had to squat under a bridge or in an underpass. Her expensive dark blue suit was scraped at both knees when she jumped out of the car.

In this state, as an Asian on unfamiliar foreign streets, she looked utterly disheveled, unable even to borrow a phone to make a call. It's really quite a miserable situation.
