After hours of packing, we were finally done...
"ok let's go and register the marriage," Alex said to Emma as so in as they were done packing
"I'll just take my bath and follow you...."Emma said
"ok then... " Alex replied and sat on the couch bringing out his phone from his pocket
"why hasn't she regained her memories" Alex asked himself when Emma went in to take her bath
He was glad when she told him to tell her about Jessy... It might help her regain her memories
After Jessy left he realized that he had grown attached to the girl in the little time she spent with them.....
While waiting for Emma he unknowingly slipped into the memory lane
On that sunny weekend, Alex prepared to leave the house
"Where are you off to dear," Clara asked Alex who was walking towards the door with his bag pack
"We have a group project as an assignment at school so I'm going to my friend's house for it" Alex said
"ok be careful" class warned
"hmm"
"Awex wait for me " a little voice said making Alex turn to look at the source of the voice
"where are you going" Alex asked raising an eyebrow
"I want to come with you" Jessy said standing in front of Alex while looking up to see his face
"and why do you want to come with me" Alex asked looking at the girl who looked at her foot sadly
"Because I'm bored"
"then go play with light... Don't bother me"

"Because I want to go with you... Please take me along Awex.....please" Jessy pleaded emphasizing the 'please' with teary eyes
"first of all... My name is not Awex... It's A.l.e.x " Alex stretched looking at the girl
Jessy looked at her foot without replying...
Alex's eyes wandered to the pink bear bag that she was carrying... The bag looked heavy so he wandered what was in the bag....
"why are you carrying a bag and what's inside it" Alex asked
"Mum Clawa bought this pink bag while coming back with Dad Ray yesterday she also bought a black bag for light isn't it pwetty," Jessy said with sparkles in her eyes
Alex almost fell for her facade...and he figured out that she was trying to divert the topic and avoid his question
"That isn't my question Jessy... I asked Why are you carrying a bag and what's inside" Alex asked again without receiving a reply from the girl
He turned her around and opened her bag... He almost facepalmed when he saw what was inside
"Jessy.." Alex called
"....."
"you should answer me when I call"
"Jessy" Alex called again and Jessy turned around and looked at him guiltily
"Yes. Awex"
"Mum said you shouldn't eat ice cream didn't she..." Alex asked receiving a nod from the guilty girl
"so why didn't you listen to Mum" Alex asked while taking the ice cream out and when hit touched something else he facepalmed for real this time
"why did you take so many sweets you silly child will you be able to finish all these" Alex scolded taking out the sweets which were wrapped in a plastic bag
He wanted to know what else was in the bag because he didn't trust this child after seeing all those sweets
He took the bag from her and walked towards the dining table... When he emptied it, his pupils dilated at what he saw
Apart from the 3 plates of ice cream and the wrapped sweets two yoghurts fell out and 3 popcorn... He was so speechless when he saw the contents of the bag and he looked at the girl who was looking at him guiltily with her big round eyes
Jessy glanced at the boy whose gaze demanded an answer
"I took the ice cream for both of us... What if you get hungry while you were working on the project... I don't want Awex to feel hungwi so I bought ice creams and yoghurts" Jessy explained
"But we are two Jessy... So why did you bring three ice creams and three popcorn"
"two for me and one for Awex" Jessy replied counting with her fingers at this point, Alex didn't know whether to cry or laugh this girl was good at making him speeches
"How did you know that I was going for a project today when I didn't even tell Mom"
"Xabier told me," Jessy said and that was when he knew that he should teach his brother how to control his mouth
"if you want to come with me you have to keep these things you're carrying and take water instead" Alex said
"But...." she looked at Alex with teary eyes Alex wanted to plead but she stopped
"ok awex" Jessy said and started putting everything back into the bag
"ok ok... You can take them but you have to let go of one ice cream... One popcorn and you are allowed to take only two sweets with you... Do we have a deal" Alex asked and just like magic, a smile returned to Jessy's face
"yes Awex" Jessy replied spontaneously with joy and took the one ice cream and one pop form back
She came out as soon as she left... She backed her bag and looked up at Alex with blinking down eyes
"I'm ready Alex" she said with a smile on her face
Alex ruffled her hair and smiled briefly...
"you just smiled in awe...." Jessy gasped with widened eyes
"no, I did not" Alex denied
"yes, you did I saw it... I made you smile...I made you smile" Jessy said joyfully
"I said I didn't smile Jessy" Alex said and held her hand as they walked out of the house
"I'm ready... We can go now" Emma said bringing him back from memory lane he looked at her and was dumbfounded
she came out of her room in a plain white shirt and a dark pink high school skirt which revealed her long legs she wore a white channel boot and her hair was tied into a messy pony
She looked just like old times except that she was now a woman... His woman
"why are you wearing this" he asked looking at her legs
Normally at work, she wears a floral top and a formal skirt or a shirt and a lady's jeans trousers but now she was wearing a high school skirt which revealed her long legs
