At night, everyone gathered at the table for dinner
Treasure and gift has been the one making dinner for everyone these days... Seeing the state their mum was in
They said their prayers and were about to start eating when Raymond's phone rang and It was Solomon calling
"Any feedback," Raymond asked
"sir we found out that she was admitted to xx hospitals two weeks ago she had an accident with a man whom the nurses said was her father because of their resemblance and the colour of their hair" Solomon said through the phone which everyone heard..... Clara's hand which was about to grab the spoon also paused
To say she was glad that they finally found her was an understatement but when she heard that she was in the hospital her face fell
"What!! Hospital... Is she still there" Raymond asked
"no sir they said her mother came to take her home" Solomon replied
"her mother... Wait I'll be there in an hour " Raymond said and hung up....he stood up from the chair
"you guys should eat I'll be back " Raymond said
"take me with you Ray" Raymond hesitated
"Please.." Clara added
"ok come with me but you have to promise me that you won't cry no matter the situation" Raymond added
"I promise," Clara said and held Raymond's hand as they left the house together
They got to the hospital In less than an hour...
"where is the doctor," Raymond asked immediately after they saw Solomon
"He is in his office, sir" Solomon replied and Raymond went into the doctor's office along with Clara
"oh Raymond Smith what a great surprise," the doctor said happily and stretched his hand towards Raymond for a handshake
The doctor looked like he was in his late 60's
Raymond accepted the greeting with a polite smile
"Have a sit," the doctor said pointing towards the sit
"thank you, sir," Raymond said
"you've grown into a fine young man...the last time I saw you physically was 10 years ago after I left the medical team in the army and now you're now a popular businessman Stephen must be so proud of his son," Doctor Aubrey said with a smile
"yes sir " Raymond replied
"How is his health now... I heard he is in India right now"
"he's still under observation sir and he will be back in 2 months" Raymond replied
"That's great to hear... So what brings you to my hospital" Doctor Aubrey asked
"Doctor Aubrey we lost a little girl and my man told me that she was admitted to your hospital two weeks ago" Raymond started calmly
"is the little girl a golden blonde-haired girl?" doctor Aubrey asked
"yes yes that's Jessy," Raymond said
"oh yeah some people brought her along with a man who seemed like her father but when I saw his face I found out that he wasn't her father he was the son of an old friend....he has been my friend for more than 30 years now so how could I not recognise his son," Doctor Aubrey said
"wait you mean The man Jessy followed Was the son of your old friend? " Raymond asked unsure why Jessy followed the man in the footage
"yes mr smith" Aubrey answered
"And what about Jessy " Clara who had been quiet all along finally broke her silence
"a woman came here claiming to be her mother we couldn't just let her take a girl who lost her memory away so we decided to conduct a DNA test and she also showed us pictures that clearly showed that she was her mother so we let her take the child home after she was conscious and healthy," doctor Aubrey said
"you mean Jessy lost her memory?" Clara asked in stupefaction
"yeah I'm surprised that the child was able to make it alive she has a strong will to live the man who was in an accident with her is still in a coma now although he tried to save her he was at a bigger risk, "Doctor Aubrey said
"oh my God what have I done" Clara Said covering her mouth to hold back her tears
"remember your promise not to cry Clara and besides the situation helped her to reunite with her mother " Raymond said and helped Clara wipe her tears
After Clara calmed down, Raymond looked at Doctor Aubrey
"Please can you give us the woman's address" Raymond requested
"sure" Doctor Aubrey answered and gave them the address that the woman had given him
After they left the hospital they drove straight to the address Doctor Aubrey provided
They rang the doorbell a few times but there was no answer
"Are you looking for Mrs Elizabeth sir" they heard a woman ask
"yes please," Clara said hurriedly
"she found her missing daughter a few days ago and I was surprised to see that they were relocating immediately after she brought the pale-looking Jessy home," the woman said
"Please do you know their present home," Raymond asked
"no sir... Immediately they came home that night they relocated " the woman replied
"ok thank you very much" Raymond said
"I'm glad my Jessy is alright the only regret I have now is that I didn't get to say goodbye please help me find Jessy Ray I can't lose contact with my daughter " Clara said with a sad smile
Raymond embraced her and planted a kiss on her hair
"yes, darling we will find her and I'm glad that you're not crying..."Raymond said
"I won't cry because Jessy found her real mother... And remember... Hess lost her memory so she probably won't remember us but I'm glad that she is alright " Clara said with a genuine smile
"Let's go home dear" Raymond said and they got into their car and drove off
They got home and Raymond narrated the story of their journey to their children then we were glad that Jessy was alright but they were also a bit sad that she lost her memory and wouldn't remember them and they hoped that their dad would find her

"Dad searched for Jessy for years and couldn't find her but that didn't make us forget her because she will always be a part of our lives" Light concluded with a smile while Gift wiped the lone tears off
"hmm but I don't get the reason why you all didn't tell me about this Jessy girl sooner" Grandpa Smith asked making everyone speechless
"Why should we tell you you weren't here when it happened were you?" Alex said without batting an eyelid
"you brat " Grandpa Smith exclaimed through gritted teeth
"the truth is bitter old man so accept it... If you all would excuse me I love to go to my house and prepare for my marriage tomorrow" Alex said and left
