"Miss Kimura…" Kenzo trailed off, his heart shattering for a moment. The weight of what had happened to the young mistress they had all always served, the heiress of the house Aydin, was not getting any lighter, and it was haunting to say the least.
The truth of what they were living was way too harsh, and Kenzo, even then, understood there wasn't much he could do. After all, he was but a servant of the mighty Aydins.
Elif deserved way better than to be murdered on the streets like some thug, but then what else could they do about it? It had been fifteen long, lonely months, and the Aydins hadn't even been seen here, regardless of what scandal needed them.
