[KIYOMI]
"This way," Kenzo said, leading the way through the mansion.
He didn't bother to look in Kiyomi's direction, to see if the woman was alright. The marble floor was cold, but so many things had happened over the years that everything else seemed normal to Kenzo.
It was a life where they had been worth nothing for the longest time, so death was not a threat to him and the people. And that was some weird horror shit. Or maybe it was just what he had to deal with, regardless, right?
The Aydin mansion was a beautiful place, no doubt.
It was perfect, and it was right for the humans who had lived here.
Kiyomi wondered if they had ever really been a family, and to answer her questions, she saw the photos on the walls. Photos that were so real and so enchanting, to say the least.
There were albums all over, and it was almost heartwarming to see a constantly playing video on one of the huge screens with her favorite person.
And on that was Elif.
Her best friend.
Her sister.
