Chapter 51 - Chapter 19: Decisive Battle of fallen Yava Viskans Part 4

He responded without looking back, still preparing for his descent, "Yes, I know he is trying to stand but will be dead soon…"

He turned and looked into the eyes of a soldier and continued, "Do you know what will be the cause of his death? It is not his blood loss, but his attitude that he is fine and still fighting."

"Okay, let's go then," he said and grabbed a beast, but before he could jump, he was stopped again. "Wait, Captain, we have to trust him." He turned back and said, "So, why do you think so now?" His teeth were locked as he was trying to control his frustration.

"Because he is not alone." They pointed towards Aliyan. "What…?" He turned and saw there was a little white dot-like thing in the area. "Okay, you mean that beast, but…" He stopped and looked towards them and then questioned, "What are you actually thinking?"

"Prepare yourselves," they shouted. For five to eight minutes, they had made preparations for their plan. "If this doesn't work, I will jump straight from here," Captain said to those people who told him to hold. They looked towards him and said nothing.

After fourteen to twenty-two minutes, the preparation was completed while Aliyan had recovered a bit. "Get ready, we are coming, Aliyan!" one of the soldiers said.

"Now!" The order broke the silence. Two arrows were launched at an angle, with two strings of thread following the arrows. The arrows flew high into the sky and then started to fall at an angle. All eyes were locked on the arrows, and then they got stuck in between the loose sand of the cliff.

"We need something else." Those soldiers who had planned this started to discuss with each other, but on the contrary, the Captain was getting more and more impatient. "SIDE!" he roared, pushing soldiers aside.

He pulled strings. Soldiers started pulling the other string. Within a few minutes, he waved the string at the final moment, and the arrow launched into the air.

He, with a smile, held the arrow and with another hand, held his bow. He pulled his string to his maximum and launched the arrow at an angle. Everyone looked towards the falling arrow with anticipation.

The soldiers had pulled the arrows and pushed an arrow towards him.

He pushed the arrow back. "Wait, let us see." The arrow reached its destination within five to eight seconds, but their anticipation turned into disappointment.

"Okay," he said and signaled to the soldier holding the arrow. They understood what he asked and handed over the arrow as they started pulling the arrow back.

He started searching for something and then moved to pick a stone. The stone was heavy compared to its size and was almost smooth.

He started to untie the thread but stopped.

"Bring me rope." Other soldiers brought him rope. He carefully tied rope around the arrow and started swinging it to check its knot.

"Okay, let's do this." He moved towards the edge of the cliff and wrapped the rope around his hand in a shape resembling an '8'. After a few minutes, he was ready to throw the rope.

"Okay, Vice Commander, hold on just a few minutes more."

With these words, he started swinging the rope in a circular motion. After a few minutes, he launched the rope at an angle.

The rope started to unwrap very fast around his hand, and it finally reached the base of the cliff where Aliyan was trying to stand.

"Okay, get ready!" The soldiers who were with Aliyan shouted. All the soldiers started to react to the order. After some time, they had moved supplies out of the supply boxes. Some of the items, extra swords, were tied with thread to the supply boxes' handles to make them slide on the rope.

The beast started pulling ropes while Aliyan was standing in between the rope to hold the items. Within five to eight minutes, he successfully gathered all the items sent to him.

He started inserting swords and a spear inside the earth's crust to make them work like a pillar to tie the rope. After fifteen minutes, with the help of the beast and his recovery after drinking the blue liquid, he had done his part.

"Give them a signal," he said, tapping on the beast's back and lying on the ground, tired. The beast roared.

"NOW!" Soldiers who were with Aliyan shouted. The Captain, two to three soldiers, got inside the supply boxes and then were pushed along the rope. Within a few minutes, the speed of their fall increased drastically.

"Just a bit more," the Captain was thinking to himself. But the rope had started to snap. Aliyan was lying down but tried to stand. The things on which the rope was tied started to cut the rope.

"This is bad." He rushed towards the rope, but in front of his eyes, everything turned black for some time. He sat down to prevent injuries and then slowly stood after some time.

"Snap!" The rope, under the stress, snapped. Only one-third of the rope was attached to each other at the critical points. Aliyan, unaware of the same, was looking at the end of the rope which was about to cut anytime now.

He rushed and pulled the rope just before it freed itself. The force of the supply boxes along with the soldiers was so much for him, and he started to drag, but he stopped after ten to fifteen meters. He turned back and saw the beast was pulling the rope with him.

Meanwhile, inside the supply boxes

"What are you thinking, Captain?" one of the soldiers asked him, but he was busy and didn't respond at all. "Could this be…?" "Oh! What was that?" The soldier reacted to a sudden shake inside the supply box, but it only raised his concern.

"Okay, come on, body, just hold on," Aliyan said while spitting blood from his mouth. Blood, which was frozen, started to flow once again.
