Chapter 50 - Chapter 19: Decisive Battle of fallen Yava Viskans Part 3

Within a few seconds, it pierced hundreds of beast bodies like nothing happened, and its movement was not hampered at all. The arrow made its way toward the core of the beast; each one of them exploded. Thousands of meters long dust cloud was formed, and more than 3,000 beasts were affected, with the majority of them dying.

Carciyan recalled what Tlenion just said: "This will give you time, so run with the remaining ones." He looked towards Tlenion, whose energy had completely disappeared and whose arm muscles had exploded. His arms were turning red with each passing second.

Carciyan moved towards him, slowly and carefully, and gently laid him down. He sat down near him and put his hand on his eyes. "When this is over, I will come back for you," Carciyan said and hugged his friend for the very last time, then moved, carrying his blade in his hand and his eyes covered in anger.

Carciyan started running towards his fellow Yava Viskans, killing beasts coming in his way. "Get out of my WAY!" he roared, severing them into two.

Meanwhile

While this was happening, Julicious's wing, under the leadership of Aliyan, had cleared the beasts of the area and was ready to head further.

"Vice Commander, soldiers, horses are resting," one of the soldiers said, looking towards Aliyan. Aliyan nodded his head and said, "Okay then, we have to wait. The sun has started to descend, and soon the area will be dark."

The soldier nodded his head and moved to the camp area. "Something is…" he said, looking from the cliff end to a small area away from him. In confusion, he turned back but stopped in his place. "What is this?" he said.

The area around him had turned bluish-violet. He turned to find the source of the same, but the light intensity was so high he wasn't able to see a thing. Soldiers moved out of the camps in a hurry and confusion.

"What is this light?" "Where is this coming from?" "Does anyone have any idea about that light?" Soldiers were asking each other, but the answer was the same: no one had recognized that strange light. However, Aliyan was surprised and confused. He looked towards the source in a particular manner, trying to see something.

"Call him," he said to the soldier next to him. That soldier nodded his head in confusion and asked him, "Vice Commander, who should I actually call?" Aliyan turned towards him and opened his mouth to say something but stopped and then moved inside the camp.

"Don't worry, I will talk with him personally."

After a few minutes, Aliyan moved out of the camp. "Why is Vice Commander wearing battle armor?" "I think we are heading to the next region."

"But then why is he wearing it now? Horses cannot handle such weight, and beasts are only used in emergency, so why now?" "Exactly! Stop, he is coming here." Soldiers were talking with each other when Aliyan came near them.

"Move," Aliyan just said a word and then moved forward to the herd of wind beasts and mounted one, then returned to the place he was earlier. He stood in front of the cliff, holding the beast's rope. "If they can do it, you can too do this," he said while holding the wind beast's face and removed the halter from its body. "Let's do this."

With these words, he jumped on the wind beast's back. The beast roared, giving its answer, and leapt from the cliff. Soldiers, in fear, moved towards the cliff, but a few of them were still in their place with a hope of success.

The soldiers gathered around the area and saw a dust cloud formed in the cliff area. After a few minutes, the dust started to clear, and then the scene was clearly visible.

The beast was running down the hill; its speed was very fast. When it was about to reach the end, it didn't stop for an instant but converted the fall movement to acceleration across the area.

After four to eight minutes, the beast was able to stop. For the soldiers, they only saw a glimpse of him for a moment and were in a panic, but people who were with him nodded their heads and opened their pocket binoculars to watch him. "He is safe!" they shouted in joy, but the joy couldn't last for long.

"Something is wrong," one of them said. Soldiers gathered around him, and other soldiers with binoculars looked at him. "His body is…" "He is bleeding." When the soldiers heard this, they were silent for a few moments, and then the silence was broken by one of them.

"He has fallen off the back of the beast."

Everyone looked towards the place they suspected him to be with a glimpse of fear. "Let me go," one of the soldiers said, and everyone looked towards him in confusion. Some of them, brave, requested that they would go. "NO!" A powerful roar filled the area, and silence returned.

"None of you can handle this. I will go," one of the soldiers holding binoculars said and moved towards the herd of beasts and selected one.

"I am sorry, but we have to endure it together," he said, gently tapping the beast's forehead.

The beast closed its eyes in response while bending its head a bit, and then started to move along with him towards the cliff.

"What is going on?" he said, looking towards the cliff where soldiers were talking. He was only able to hear a few things, so he rushed towards them and, using his binoculars, he saw.

Aliyan was trying to stand but falling to his knees again and again. "I have to go," he said, putting his binoculars back and rushing towards a beast. "Wait, Captain Barkaa, something is happening down there," one of the soldiers said.
