After Nightfire had her tasty lollipop, Aether noticed the soldiers gathering outside Nyx's mansion.
Their armour clinked as they shifted uneasily, asking them to leave the house as soon as possible, as this place was going to be their new base.
Aether tilted his head, "This house… isn't even yours?"
Nyx only shrugged.
Aether parted his lips to speak, but he snapped his mouth shut with an audible click. Finally, he forced out, "Where are you going now?"
Nyx blinked at him, as though the question itself puzzled her. "Of course, where my husband lives," she replied, her voice firm with a matter-of-fact cadence, as if it were the most obvious truth in the world.
Aether froze, then parted his lips again. But once more, no words came, and he shut them.
It's not that she was wrong, but she could have at least fought for her rights here!
"Sigh… Aether has no home right now," he muttered in a lost tone.
Yup, Aether really had no house built right now.
