Inside the dimly lit room, Nightfire sat across from the woman at a wooden table.
The woman placed the capsule down on the table with trembling hands, as though it was a forbidden relic too heavy for her to hold. Her breath came shallow, her fingers twitching every time her eyes fell upon it.
"Tell me… what do you want," the woman asked, her tone strained, voice caught between fear and greed.
Nightfire leaned forward, "I need to know about the Succubus Queen."
At that, the woman's face darkened. Her lips pressed tight as she weighed her options, her hesitation stretching in the silence.
Nightfire noticed instantly, and she slid another capsule across the table.
The woman's eyes widened, her pupils dilating as she stared at the two capsules side by side. A hunger overtook her, her throat bobbing before she finally muttered, "Succubus Queen… well, just as her title says… she was our Queen. Her abilities and powers surpass all of us—"
