Timeline: 98 AG (same as before)
"Now then, the next chakra you need to unlock is within your stomach. It is known as the fire chakra, dealing with willpower and being blocked by the emotion of shame. Tell me, Azula, what is it that you are ashamed of in your life" Asks the Master, now sitting beside Azula in the same lotus style she is
Azula, after thinking about it for a minute, comes to a conclusion "in my... Entire life as the princess of this nation, anything that I've ever done, for none of it do i feel shame. My path was clear both physically and mentally from the start" She inhales a breath softly, "I'm not ashamed of anything I've done in this new life" She slowly opens her eyes half-littedly, "as for my past... " She thinks, "i guess... The greatest shame i felt was... About never disclosing my past with my children..." She says
"In my last life, i never got to see or know who my own parents were. When i later grew up, dreaming and having big ambitions about a more, luxurious life for myself, i worked hard and, was able to become successful in life..." She sighs in remembrance, "...then, later when i got married to My husband who was from a wealthy family, my past came up, resulting in distance between his side of the family and myself.
But, in all my 10 years of marriage, not once was he bad with me. When his family became distant, he was still as successful as before. He was a foreign investor so, alot of times he would be overseas, away from his family" Azula's brows furrow, "but then, in one of his investments, he had to go to another foreign land and, there he got caught in a Terrorrist attack while on his way to his client from the airport... " tears begin to flow from her eyes
She wipes them away before continuing, "anyways, that was a long time ago so I'm kinda over that. Sorry if i made things uncomfortable. My brain just automatically went that way without me thinking" Says Azula, still wiping her eyes with her sleeves
"No it's okay. It is part of the healing properties that comes with going through unlocking our 7 chakras. You may take your time" Says the master in a comforting tone while putting a hand on Azula's back. "The past is already over, my dear. By living your present, you may have a say in how to shape your future, as well as give your past a present to remember"
After a while, Azula collects her bearings before assuming her position again, "anyways, where were we. Ah right, my shame. Well, in my last life, i guess i was always ashamed of telling my kids about my past. At the time i was blessed by them we were very much living better lives than from where i started. So, i though that the past should be buried in the past and so, i never shared it with my children" She confesses, making her Master nod
"But then again, " Then she continues "now that i think about it, it was kinda silly of me. I mean, what could happen if i told them? At the time i didn't even entertain the idea but, now that i look back. If i told them, nothing would have changed. I mean, i should even have felt proud to climb that high in my life instead of being ashamed of my starting point" Azula reveals, before a feeling comes over her. As if a burden she didn't know she was carrying got off her chest, and she starts feeling lighter
"Well done, Azula, you have confronted with your shame and, in the process, even learned that your so called 'shame' was self imposed and not even real. This is something we call self-doubt. You doubted yourself at the time and, going based on that emotion, decided to bury your life's greatest leap, thinking it was something to be ashamed of. Sometimes, our emotions can influence our lives without us even realizing it, and can so in many different ways. As spiritual lifeforms, beings who knows themselfs better than anyone else, one can go beyond these controls that emotions bring" The master explains
"Now then, unto our fourth order of energy. Next we have the air chakra, it is located in the heart, dealing with love and being blocked by grief. Your griefs sometimes can block your heart from being touched by others. To be human, especially a spiritually atuned one, is to be emotional and letting people reach your heart. Tell me, my beautiful disciple, what is it that you grieve about, that has closed your heart to others. What is preventing you from loving, just like any other human being" Asks the master
Azula, in this life of hers as the mighty being that she is, have NEVER, not even ONCE thought of those around herself as close. Sure, she loved her mother Ursa, her Aunt Mia, her big brother Zuko, her cousin Lu Ten, and her friends Mai and Ty Lee. The emotions she garners for them are all genuine love, but she's never, not ONCE, ever let them get close to her heart
A look of agony colors her face as she faces her master, "Master... Am i... Broken?... " She asks, in a very heartbroken voice
Her master, seeing the pure agony and broken of a look that Azula is wearing, having been there to see her at her highest and now lowest, seeing this perfect being reduced to such a state by the blades that strike both sides called emotions, can't help but bring her into a hug. A form of comforting that is a universal gesture. She stroke Azula's hair soothingly while whispering words of comfort
"You are not broken, my dear. Sometimes, life throws us a boon and sometimes it brings us misfortune. But if these two things didn't exist, then there would be no such thing as balance. The universe's laws dictate there be equilibrium" She explains "without one side, the other would topple, and bring disbalance to the world. Without Yin there can be no yang. Without light, there can never be darkness, and without life, there can be no death"
"The emotions you feel is caused by the events of your misfortune from the past. You grieve for the husband you will never see again, grieve for the children you will never touch again, never again can you feel their warmth. I will be honest with you, the pain can't and never will be gone" She says while gently stroking her trembling shoulders
"i know it must have been agony for you, to hold all these emotions inside your heart, corrupting it and never having room for others. And now that you have founded comfort in me, being able to tell me of your past and emptying it, you feel hollow, which causes you to feel broken" She lifts her face by a hand under her chin, and wipes her tears away
"The pain may never go away my dear, but pain is also a part of life. It is also an emotion that shapes us, but we also must never let it dictate our lives" She smiles lovingly at her student, her pupil, her everything, her god; she smiles, and strokes her cheek lovingly
"My young pupil, the heart of a person is like a jar. The emotions we experience and the life we've had fill that jar with water. Sometimes, that jar will shake, and spill out those precious waters, but that doesn't mean that the jar can't be filled again. You are not broken, my dear, your jar has just spilled the waters of your past. You may fill it up once again, you may let people in your heart once again. Only then can you be unshackled from these restrictive emotions" She says
Azula, wipes her tears away and, after a deep sigh, unlocks her air chakra. "Hmmm, the process this time didn't feel as whole as the previous ones. But our jars can't be filled whole once again under a single second. Your Air Chakra is unlocked for now, but it is up to you and the life you live from now on that may dictate the power it's pool will bring" The master says before smiling at the now grief free pupil of hers
"If you want, we may pause this session here on the 4th and continue another time" The master suggests, "do not worry, we are doing the process here inside your mindscape, and just like me being able to hold your evolution, i can hold back the process too so you may not feel any discomforts in the real world" She offers
But Azula shakes her head after another deep breath, cooling her expression and getting a focused look, "no, i wish to go all the way master. I never liked half finished assignments anyway" She smirks, "alright then" The master nods
"In that case, after the air we have the sound chakra. It is located at the throat and deals with Truth, while simultaneously being blocked by lies" The master explains
Azula immediately, without fanfare unlocks this chakra" I haven't, not in this nor my last life, ever been untruthful with myself. I've always had a goal in mind and worked on that in the most honest way possible. My consiouns is clear of any lie both in this life, and my last" She smirks, her spirit renewed again. "My life's goal is to be at the top. It is within my nature to be a victor. And i have never been untruthful about it. I know it, you know it, and anyone i care about knows it. I am Azula, Princess and future strongest Fire Lord to ever live" She says in a commanding tone, eliciting a look full of pride from her master, a look of pure joy and none ending assurdeness that, if Azula puts her mind on something, that something will happen no matter what
"Very good my dear student" She approves with a nod before moving on. "Now then, the next pool to unlock is the light chakra, located at your forhead. It deals with insight and is blocked by illusion" They both inhale and exhale at the same time, clearing the mind for what comes next
"The greatest illusion of this world, as Guru Pathik said and as you may know, is the illusion of seperation. In this world, everything comes from the same start. It may look differently on the outside, but inside they are all the same" The master explains, "bending for instance, is the control of ones inner chi to influence our greatest affinity on the outside. A fire bender's greatest affinity is energy generation in the form of fire. When one is born, their inner chi most of the time leans towards an affinity. For those who can't bend the elements, that just means that their chi doesn't have a yet known affinity for an element" She explains, now having Azula's full attention
"Now Azula, for the people of this world, the concept of not being able to bend is just an illusion. They think of bending as controlling the four major elements of this world. They have never given any other element outside of these four any second thought" (AN/ now here is a little adding i did to the original law of the world. I think it's not forced and can even make sense if one thinks about it 😜)
"Wait! So your saying anyone can bend an element? It's not restricted to just the four elements. And things like metal bending or lava bending aren't just derived from these four major elements but are of categories of their own?" Azula is left speechless by this revelation
"My goat, the mighty warrior Sokka could be a bender without him ever having realized it" The revelation leaves her speechless and makes her vow something on this day, 'i swear to help sokka learn of his affinity when i see him!'
"That is correct Azula. In this world, as long as chi exists, so too shall every human with chi having an affinity, whether they are lucky and have affinity for the four major and well known elements, or unlucky and have an affinity for an element they do not know of. And so never learning nor unlocking their potential. Forever being stuck with the false label 'non-bender' " The Master shakes her head to get rid of these side thoughts, "anyways, let us continue"
Azula takes her position again and, after a deep breath, and with the new realization of this world, shatters her belief of its underestanding, and tears through the illusion she believed to be true of this worlds bending laws
And so her 6th chakra is unlocked. Leaving the last that doesn't make much sense to her left
"Alright. For the last one, we shall relocate from here. This mindscape may be made of your imaginations, simple illusions that you can control, but BECAUSE they are your illusions, you may shape them in any way you like" The Master picture a scenery in her mind and sends it to Azula's
After receiving the picture, Azula concentrates and makes said illusion a reality within her mindscape
When Azula opens her eyes once again, the duo of master and student, future God and companion are 'sitting' in the cosmos. The lights from eons away stars are illuminating this spot of theirs in the form of tiny dots in the endless blackness of space
They face each other, with the master finally beginning the end of this session of Azula's asscension
"Now, let us start with the last chakra, the last pool needing unlocking, in order for you to ascend. Lastly, we have the thought chakra. Positioned in the crown of the head. It deals with pure cosmis energy, and being blocked by earthly attachments

Author's note/ and THAT almost wraps up the unlocking of the chakras. We are coming at the end of the first volume. Next volume will be a lot about traveling the world of ATLA and seeing the beauties that lies within it
In this paragraphs the master used some chill-giving terms to describe Azula 🥶
God? Azula being a god? And the master being her servant/companion? What is going on with these terms?
