Timeline: 92 AG (3 years and 9 months later), Fire Lord's Palace, Training Yard
Fwooooooosh! A jet stream of extremely hot flames leave Azula's fist and clashes with the instructor's palm, which makes it dissipate around him harmlessly
She pivots on her heels and send another wave of flame his way before changing postion and thrusting her right hand forth again, sending another beam right after the wave. Seeing this, the master once again dissipates the first wave by making a cutting motion with his hand and then casually swatting the following beam to the side, dissipating that aswel
This back and forth continues with Azula on the offensive and the intructor on the defensive for another few minutes before Azula, seemingly exhausted, starts breathing heavily and support her weight with her hands on her knees
Seeing this, the master also let's go of his stance and puts his hands behind his back, beggining to critique and point out the 'flaws' of the princess in their little match
"Your highness, since the start of the match, your form and focus have been excellent until we got to the middle of the fight. From then on, you began to falter, overreach in your thrusts, and let go of your precise energy control and give in to emotion. Remember, firebending is all about the control of breath. Never let anger or other extreme emotions control you during firebending " He says while looking as she recovers and gets back in her stance to continue the spar
'Yeah, it's all about breathing' Azula thinks as she starts focusing once more. This time, in this fourth round, she doesn't lose focuse until the very end and even manages to make the instructor, a veteran who has survived the front lines, and master firebender, move from his spot, which was the endgame for this spar
"Well done your highness, you have Comepletely grasped the fundamental of what it means to firebend, now on that regard there is nothing more to teach, all you need is to use these tools you have learned and gain experience. For today, this shall be enough, tomorrow, we shall start your lessons on the more advanced forms of firebending" Says istructor Jing, the same dude who teaches Lu Ten and Zuko too, before Lu Ten left with Iroh for the frontlines

Azula POV.
I give a curt bow to Master Jing before turning around to leave the training yard, Completely dropping the pretense of having been winded out and stuff, heading to my chambers to change clothes and begining to head to the royal Academy. As I'm walking i remember a news that came by to the palace today 'uncle Iroh and Lu Ten are supposed to come to the capital for the annual visit in 2 months. If i remember correctly, Lu Ten died when he was 20 years old or something, he's currently 17 so 3 or so more years. This time, when they visit, i guess i have some extreme measures to take in order to save him from his fate' i think while getting to my room
Once inside, i quickly take a small shower to rid myself of the sweats i generated on purpose to seem exhausted, before changing clothes to my school uniform and begining to head out for my awaiting transport carriage
Once inside the carriage i begin to space out and think about these last 3 years, '3 years ago, when i unlocked my firebending and burned down my chambers aswel as having that weird lusid dream before all that fiasco, I've learned alot about myself.' I think as I'm absently looking out the carriage's curtains and seeing the everyday life in the royal capital
'It seems that whoever, or whatever reincarnated me didn't leave me here just like that, they've given me a gift too, a sort of ability, a golden finger if you will, and the tools to master them' i think as i idly raise my right hand to face level, with my left hand under my chin, and let my chi out in the form of energy, or flames as it's more commonly known. The flames that burst out of my palm is no ordinary other firebending flames, no these are Blue flames that i could produce from the moment my firebending got unlocked when i was 4
The Blue Flames dance around my fingers and i do little tricks on my palm, like turning it into a halo like shape or a long whip, before dissipating it into the air 'my chi reserves seems to be very immense for me to be able to produce these flames indefinitely without feeling any strain at all' i think as i reminise
'From the beginning my plan of staying under the radar got busted when those nosy fire priests came by to check on me after my episode of unlocking me firebending'
[Flash back]
A few days had past after unlocking my bending and i was brought into the fire lords chambers, there i saw the fire priests and Grandpa Azulon behind the curtains of flames. Ozai was also there aswel as mother and Zuzu
"Now that she is here, you may begin High Priest" Said Grandpa and the high priest at the front began walking towards me
Once before me he intructed for me to feel my chi and guide it to my palm -dude! I'm only 4! How the hell am i supposed to do that???- ofcouse, then seeing this error of his, the high priest tried to recover by smoothly trying to teach me how that stuff works
After that, i did as he instructed, having an idea of where this is going and resigning myself to it. Little did i know how much trouble I'd be in then, when i failed to control my output and -according to them- used too much chi
From my palms, Blue flames burst forth and made the priest take a step back. I panicked too and quickly cut the supply so the flames vanished. I could have salvaged by pretending to be comepletely winded then but i was too shocked and, at the time, didn't know one couldn't feel another's chi -maybe there was a way- so the priest was simply trying to feel for himself and give a rough estimate of my reserves to the royal family
By pretending to be winded, i could atleast give the false image that i accidentally used too much of my reserves and make the priest think it was an accident, atleast giving me simply a little above average chi reserves. But looking comepletely fine while expelling that much chi, i looked like a monster with seemingly endless chi pools
'Turns out, anyone can produce blue flames, but the cost is so much that they'd rather produce normal flames in quantity instead of quality'
[Present]
'That was the day the royal family and -especially- Ozai got to see me for the prodigy that I'd become, and the praise of those stupid Roosters -Priests- didn't help my case either' i think while getting a little annoyed just remembering that 'even so, I've learned to control my chi exceptionally since that day and has since never produced blue flames infront of somone again, i still tried to get under the radar and, surprisingly, Future Fire Rooster -Ozai- hasn't approached me to 'convert me to his side' yet' i think while we're getting close to the academy i can see in the distance 'i hope he stays away from me like this until I'm strong enough to not fear anybody and do whatever i want' i think while idly playing with my long locks and looking to the sky
'Oh! Also forgot, my reincarnation that comes with these perks aren't just this immense chi reserves but also the fact that, i can feel my heart produce energy for me constantly. I know it sounds weird but i think I've got my own special magicule breeder reactor, but instead of Magicules like in Tensura I've got Chi breeder reactor for a heart or something. Of couse, not on the level of the original MBR either but maybe close. See MBR took just seconds to fill out Milims reserves, making it seem as if she hasn't even made a dent in her reserves, meanwhile mine takes atleast 5 to 10 minutes before I'm back to 100 from 0% . Kinda OP i know! ' (AN/ hope that isn't too op, limitless chi reserves... WHO AM I KIDDING THAT'S OP AS SH*T 😜)
'Anyways, you thought we were done? No sir! There's another perk-' "Princess, we're here" Before i can go into another deep monologue, I'm pulled out of my revery by the voice of the guard stationed to escort me to school and back to palace
"Alright, thank you Kuzon" I say before I'm out of the carriage and before the school gates. I give Kuzan -my guard and who is 20 years old- a look, he's one of my close bodyguards who swore fealty to me after an incident 2 years ago -which I'm not delving into right now- he's a tall man, probably 5'9 or something, with wavy black hair and black onyx eyes. He has fair skin -like all typical fire nation people- and a lean but strong build under that armored uniform typical for royal guards of the royal family. He gives me a bow and i nod before turning and walking into the institude. Behind me the carriage is parked and Kuzon begins heading into the academy aswel. Oh, i should mention, Kuzon is also our P. E. intructor, the youngest to ever start teaching
It's partly because- no scratch that it's probably because I'm studying here and my bodyguard needs to be as close to me as possible in case there is an emergency
Anyways, as I'm heading into school i spot my two friends who are also walking into the school gates, seeing them i smile and sprint a little to catch up to them "Mai! Ty! Hey wait up! " I yell to get their attention
"Azula! Hey! Good morning! " Yells Ty Lee who, upon seeing me smiles and runs towards me, giving me a hug, 'what is this? She's acting as if we've not seen each other since forever' i laugh internally and hug her back. Then, Mai gets to us and asks "Is Zuko not coming today? "
"No, i think he said he had something to do and would be a little late today" I said before going in with my two friends
'I met them when i first got to school 2 years ago. We had the same P. E. day from different classes and, seeing them on the training ground, i approached and became fast friends' my mind idky goes to the futures that awaits these 2,'Mai will betray me first on the boiling rock and Ty Lee will follow after her. In the original series, these 2 were my friends not necessarily out of friendship -maybe there was a little friendship there too but it was mostly out of fear- And in the end, that fear turned to them betraying me, one for her love to my brother, the other for her friends' sake' i think while looking at them, -still young and innocent- 'Well, not this time.' i firmly vow 'this time, they will love me and be my friends not out of fear, but as genuine friendship and trust. I'm not naive enough to believe that friendships can last one way. You need both sides to consent with the relationship in order for it to work. And i swear, I'll make our bonds so strong that no one will break it not even Ozai ' i make this promise while parting ways to go to our different classes for now

Unbeknownst to Azula, both her friends and back at the palace, Zuko and her Mom and Aunt were preparing a speacial party for Azula

Author's note/ sooooo yeah, guess our little reincarnator isn't so little anymore and has some trump cards up her sleeve aswel as some insane cheats. Honesty, i debated alot about whether to give her that Chi breeder reactor or not. But after awhile -1 minute- i decided to "F*ck it we ball" And just gave her the ability
The explanation behind how it works is like the original. It simply takes the chi in the atmosphere and, in a nuclear fusion kinda process, collides it with MC's chi, creating more Chi for MC to use
So yeah, guess that heart thing we kept seeing was this ability all along. OR maybe this is just one aspect of that things power? 🤔🤔🤔 hmmmmm
Guess we'll just have to wait and find out later huh
I also searched the internet but couldn't find her exact date of birth so i gave hetothe same as mine, September 20th
Also, before i forget, Here is how Kuzon looks like. He might become relevant to the plot. Or maybe not, know knows 🤷♂️
