Chapter 156 - The Stand

I almost wished that Hina disappeared into the crowd after leaving me ailing with the pain after she kicked me. Instead, I saw her running toward the parliament building—exactly where the soldiers were heading toward. 

There was still confusion among the crowd as more and more soldiers started to turn up. The airborne units that were headed toward the presidential residence were aiming to capture him, no doubt, and the ones headed toward the parliament would stop any parliament assembly from taking place that could vote any form of emergency resolutions. In order for the coup to be successful, they needed the control of both. 

But of course, despite her athleticism, she couldn't outrun the army trucks headed toward the parliament. After some painful chasing—because my bad leg was still hurting like hell—I saw Hina finally stop in front of the soldiers who were setting up the barricades.
