"Miss, you should stop," I warned Hina.
I was looking at her with pleading eyes one second, then turning to check the soldiers with their raised guns, then begging her again.
"I don't want to talk to you now," she said, and instead, she encouraged the crowd.
"Everyone! Lock your arms together!"
While some of them seemed clearly scared, those with strong will and growing zeal kept everyone together as the people started to lock their arms together, forming a horizontal human chain.
"We are going to march! One step at a time!"
"Please, Miss. This is a terrible idea."
She didn't care.
Standing a few meters ahead of the crowd following her now, she took a single step toward the parliament building.
One small step for the young lady, a giant step toward doom.
The human chain took a step forward as well.
"This is a warning. Do not proceed," the commander announced through megaphone.
"One more!" Hina ordered.
