Chapter 55 - Prophecy

Xylon's eyes slowly opened.

The first thing he saw was Maddison standing beside his bed, her face filled with concern.

"Your Majesty!" Relief washed over her features. "How are you feeling?"

Xylon sat up slowly.

His head still throbbed, but the memories flooding his mind were now crystal clear.

"I'm fine," his eyes searched the room. "Where is Jade?"

The room fell silent.

Heberlin stepped forward. "You remember everything?"

Xylon nodded.

A shadow crossed his face.

"I'm sorry," his voice was heavy with guilt. "I forgot all of you. I never realized Leviathan had erased my memories."

Aria shook her head gently. "That wasn't your fault. The important thing is that your memories have returned."

"But Jade..." Xenon muttered.

Immediately, Xylon looked at him.

A sense of dread crept into his chest. "Where is Jade?"

No one answered.

The silence itself became terrifying.

"Why aren't you answering me?" his voice rose. "Where is Jade?"

Still no answer.

"WHERE IS MY WIFE?!"

Finally, Lilith lowered her head. "Leviathan took her."

Everything froze.

For a moment, Xylon simply stared.

Unable to process what he had heard.

Then reality struck.

"No..."

He rose from the bed.

"No..."

His breathing became ragged.

"NO!"

A burst of power exploded from his body.

"JADE!!!"

The palace trembled.

The room around them distorted.

Walls vanished.

The floor disappeared.

In an instant, everyone found themselves standing inside a vast forest created by Xylon's power.

Violent winds howled through the trees.

The sky darkened.

Branches snapped.

Trees shattered.

CRASH!

Another tree exploded.

BOOM!

The ground cracked beneath his feet.

"LEVIATHAN!"

The King's fury shook the entire illusion.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!"

His voice echoed like thunder.

The nobles panic.

They had never seen Xylon this angry before.

"Your Majesty!" Heberlin grabbed his shoulder. "Calm down!"

Others quickly moved to restrain him.

For several tense moments, Xylon struggled.

Then finally—

The winds weakened.

The forest slowly faded.

The palace reappeared around them.

Xylon lowered his head.

His hands trembled.

Not from rage.

From fear.

Fear of losing Jade forever.

When he finally spoke, his voice was quiet.

Yet filled with unwavering determination.

"We're getting her back."

His crimson eyes blazed.

"No matter what it takes."

.....

Few moments later...

Yvess stepped out of the room and immediately noticed someone peeking around the corner.

It was Sagi.

Naturally.

"What are you doing?" Yvess asked.

Sagi jumped.

"Nothing!"

Then his curiosity won.

"What happened earlier? What were those creatures attacking the kingdom?"

"Demons," Yvess answered.

The color instantly drained from Sagi's face.

"D-Demons?"

"Which is exactly why you shouldn't leave your room until everything is resolved," without another word, Yvess walked away.

Leaving Sagi frozen in place. "Demons..."

He peeked toward the King's chamber.

Then looked around the palace.

"Vampires on one side."

"Demons on the other."

He rubbed his face.

"Seriously... How did I end up in this kind of world?"

Groaning dramatically, he returned to his room.

The moment he entered, his attention shifted toward the large portraits hanging on the walls.

He wandered closer.

Reading each name carefully.

"King Xylon Vladimir Serolf..."

"Lord Xenon Serolf..."

"Lord Heberlin Serolf..."

"Lord Zake Park..."

"Lord Stephen Travis Eveson Sy..."

"Lord Seven Blake..."

"Lord Cedrick Sanchez..."

"Lord Zander Grimaldi..."

"Lord Arden..."

"Lord Yvess Furukawa..."

"Lady Aria Malkovich..."

"Lady Lilith Holyson..."

"Lady Maddison Lyngdon..."

"Queen Jade Serolf..."

His eyes widened.

"Whoa. Even their names sound cool."

Sagi crossed his arms thoughtfully.

Then an idea entered his head.

"Hmmm..."

He pointed at himself.

"Would 'Lord' sound good on me too?"

He struck a pose.

"Lord Sagitarius Hairren."

A grin spread across his face.

"Nice. It sounds more handsome."

He laughed at his own joke.

As usual.

No one else was there to appreciate it.

Eventually, he flopped onto the bed.

His smile slowly faded.

"When can I go back to the human world?"

He pulled the blanket over himself.

"This place gives me chills."

Within minutes, exhaustion claimed him.

And he fell asleep.

.

.

.

Meanwhile, deep within Leviathan's castle...

Jade slowly opened her eyes.

The room was enormous.

Dark.

Silent.

The walls were carved from black stone.

Ancient runes glowed faintly across the ceiling.

But the room was decorated beautifully.

As her vision cleared, she noticed someone sitting in the corner.

Watching her.

Leviathan.

"Looks like you're awake, my love."

Jade immediately tried to stand.

But metal chains rattled loudly.

Her eyes widened.

Both her wrists and ankles were shackled.

"Let me go!"

She struggled desperately.

The chains refused to break.

Leviathan laughed.

Slowly rising from his seat.

He approached the bed.

"Don't worry."

His fingers brushed her cheek.

The touch made her flinch.

"I'll release you eventually."

A twisted smile appeared on his lips.

"Once we've fulfilled our dream."

Jade glared at him.

"What dream?"

Leviathan's eyes gleamed.

"To destroy this world."

Tears gathered in Jade's eyes.

"You, monster. Let me go!"

Her voice cracked.

But Leviathan merely smiled.

Then suddenly leaned forward.

Before Jade could react—

He kissed her.

Jade froze.

Horror filled her eyes.

Leviathan pulled away moments later.

Completely satisfied.

"Rest well, Jinx."

Then he turned and left.

The heavy doors slammed shut.

Leaving Jade alone.

Her tears finally fell.

"Xylon..."

She curled into herself.

"Please save me."

.

.

.

Elsewhere in the palace...

Lilith suddenly jolted awake.

Her body trembling.

Tears streamed down her face.

Another vision.

Another nightmare.

But this one was worse.

Far worse.

She had seen the sky consumed by darkness.

Cities burning.

Countless deaths.

Rivers of blood.

A world collapsing beneath chaos.

And at the center of it all...

One person.

A mortal young man.

A virgin born beneath the full moon.

The key to Leviathan's ultimate plan.

The one destined to become the instrument of the world's destruction.

Lilith wrapped her arms around herself.

Trying to calm her racing heart.

"Who is he?"

The question escaped her lips as a whisper.

"Who is the boy from my vision?"

She closed her eyes.

Searching her memories.

Then suddenly—

A face appeared in her mind.

Messy hair.

A ridiculous smile.

Endless confidence.

And absolutely no common sense.

Lilith's eyes flew open.

Her breathing stopped.

"N-No..."

Shock flooded her face.

"It can't be..."

The young man from the prophecy.

The mortal born under the full moon.

The one Leviathan intended to use.

Was none other than.....
