In front of a mirror sat a girl that despised her existence.All her life,whenever she goes into the village she was always called all sort of names.Even though she is beautiful her beauty have never for once saved her from being talked down to.
Looking into the mirror is Euphorial which means happiness.She is the well known scum of Ariel village (the human kingdom).
Euphorial took in her features in the mirror.Blonde haired,yellow eyes with a hue of purple which is unnoticeable unless she is angry or not in a good state of mind,full dark lips,small nose,long lashes,perfect shaped eye brows with a perfect body.She dressed up and went out of her room.
'Hey beautiful',her father greeted her and she answered "good morning father Cross".
'Baby don't forget to get yourself a dress for the year's annual ball' her father reminds before she left the house.
She is Euphorial Cross and she had always known that her dad is half human and half vampire while she is human.I can guess what you are thinking,she does not really know what creature she is but she is definitely not like her father's because she does not crave blood.
As i venture into the village i covered my head with my father's coat to avoid people stares and disgusting words that was always thrown at me.I bought food and went to my friend's shop which happened to be at the extreme end of the village.
My friend name is Victor he is a tailor and he is well known for what he does.Every dress that I have ever bought and wore was sewn by him with my father's.No one wants to sew for us because of the ridiculous rumour of me being a witch.
I got to victor's shop and knocked because I know how busy he can be either sewing clothes or attending to those spoilt girls who came to his shop to looking at his handsome face,or wanting to feel his touch on their body while he took their measurements.
Victor opened the door to me and I settled down on his couch.We talk about the upcoming ball and he also filled me in of the recent occurrences in the village,his shop serve as a place for sharing gossips behind hidden doors by the visiting customers.I have no one to tell me what is going on in the village but I am happy to have him as my friend.
While growing up,all other friends I had were either jealous of my beauty or scared off by the rumors around me.
He showed me the clothes he had sewn for me and he picked out a purple dress for me to wear to the ball.He said he will have his servant deliver the dress with a mask to my house.Since it's getting late,I paid for the clothes and I waited a bit for him to pack the rest.
When I got home I saw my dad sipping a red liquid which he called wine for me because he didn't want me to know much about him,but I know that the so called 'wine' is a stored blood.

'You can try to get a man there you know' Euphorial heard her father murmur on her way to her room.
