Fugaku uses his left arm to slightly redirect Naruto's arm while using his own right arm to punch Naruto's face as a counterattack.
Naruto slightly tilted his head to dodge Fugaku's punch while using his leg to kick Fugaku's abdomen, yet it didn't land, as Fugaku, using his left arm, grabbed Naruto's leg and used it to throw Naruto flying for a few meters.
Naruto quickly flipped himself to balance himself, and before his feet landed on the ground, Fugaku closed the distance between them and, using his right arm, which was being enhanced by chakra to make his punch stronger, targeted Naruto's abdomen.
Naruto quickly blocks the punch using one of his hands and uses the available one to launch a counterattack towards Fugaku.
The moment Naruto's arms touch Fugaku's arms, cracks suddenly form beneath Naruto's feet thanks to the incredible force behind the attack, which slightly makes Naruto's eyes widen.
'Stronger than expected,' Naruto thought after his arm blocked Fugaku's punch.
He greatly underestimates the power behind the punch, and Naruto calculates that the punch Fugaku throws at him is far stronger than their first exchange, which makes Naruto's lips curl up.
Naruto knows that he cannot enjoy himself in the fight since he has to follow the plan in order to pass the test, but Fugaku's strength really makes Naruto excited despite knowing the consequences of him getting loose.
While he is still following the plan the three of them made, Fugaku is right now trying to pressure him, clearly trying to deduce the limits of his strength.
While Naruto wasn't against using all of his strength here, if he did, then Hinata and Satsuki would never be able to use the opening opportunity he might create due to their speed, which is far faster than the two.
Naruto quickly tries to gain distance by quickly bringing out several shurikens and firing them directly at Fugaku as a diversion.
Fugaku brought out a kunai and used it to parries the flying shurikens while maintaining the close distance between the two of them.
Just as he was about to get close and use his kunai to attack Naruto, another Naruto suddenly appeared in front of Fugaku, which just confirmed his suspicions earlier.
Naruto's clone dashed towards Fugaku, and before Fugaku could even begin to attack the clone, he suddenly heard Naruto mutter.
"Clone Explosion Jutsu," Naruto whispered, but with Fugaku's enhanced hearing, he can hear it loud and clear.
'Shit! 'Fugaku thought as the clone in front of him glowed in white color before causing a huge explosion.
Dirt and smoke rise into the air, and after a few moments for the smokescreen to dissipate, one can see a 2-3 meter diameter crater created by the explosion.
Fugaku barely manages to distance himself from the explosion. If he was slightly slower to move, he would definitely suffer some damage due to the explosion. While it wouldn't be severe, it would be damage nonetheless.
Fugaku didn't take a moment to rest and resumed dashing straight to Naruto, who had been retreating this entire time.
Naruto sees Fugaku quickly make a handsign and shout, "Wind Style: Wind Orb Barrage Jutsu."
Balls of wind-style chakra emerge from his mouth and fly straight to Fugaku at terrifying speed. Fugaku quickly dodges the attack by moving in a zigzag pattern.
Naruto wasn't surprised to see Fugaku easily dodging his attack, as the purpose of the attack wasn't to damage Fugaku but to distract him.
Naruto quickly slams his hand on the ground, much to Fugaku's confusion, but moments later his eyes widen in alarm.
A complex sealing formula suddenly appeared in the ground and quickly made its way towards the Fugaku location. The distance between them was so short that the seals managed to reach Fugaku, making him paralyzed.
'Chakra engraving?! 'Fugaku thought to himself while trying to move his body.
Fugaku was shocked to find out Naruto was able to use such an advanced sealing technique, which really required a high level of control of one's own chakra as well as incredible knowledge about sealing arts.
Fugaku not only felt his body unable to move, but even his chakra felt the same way, which just made him more shocked by the sealing arts of Naruto.
"Now!" Naruto yelled as loud as he could, which snapped Fugaku from his thoughts.
Hinata and Satsuki immediately show themselves and run as fast as they can to Fugaku. Fugaku's lip slightly curled up seeing this before his attention focused on his situation.
Just as Hinata and Satsuki were starting to get closer to Fugaku, out of nowhere another Fugaku appeared close to Naruto and launched an attack, which forced Naruto to dodge.
The sealing formula, which covered Fugaku's body, quickly disappeared, returning his control of both his body and chakra.
Hinata's and Satsuki's eyes widen for a moment after seeing the disappearance of the sealing formula, which made them turn their heads towards Naruto, who had been fighting a clone of Fugaku.
Fugaku uses this opening to close his distance between him and the two girls who have been distracted due to Naruto fighting his clone.
He initially created the clone earlier this day for the purpose of using the clone to fight the others who were hiding in the forest, as he thought they wouldn't team up in the beginning.
Fugaku just didn't expect to use his clone to launch a sneak attack on Naruto.
"Don't take your eyes off your opponent," Fugaku calmly said as he launched an attack on Satsuki, who was unable to dodge or block in time.
Hinata immediately tries to shut off Fugaku's chakra points in his arm in order to lessen the damages Satsuki might receive, but Fugaku is far too fast for Hinata.
Both Satsuki and Hinata were sent flying with one powerful attack by Fugaku, and just as he was about to turn to Naruto, a flood of memories attacked him, which froze Fugaku for a moment and made him alert about Naruto's sudden arrival.
Naruto once again arrived and, without hesitation, launched a barrage of attacks with kunai in hand.
Both Fugaku and Naruto exchange blows one after another, and the sounds of metal hitting each other can be heard throughout the training ground.
After finding himself in a slightly disadvantageous position, Naruto threw a couple of kunai, which were easily dodged by Fugaku, but he noticed something amiss as the last kunai that passed him had an explosion tag around the handle of the kunai.
'Not again! 'Fugaku thought and immediately disengaged himself from Naruto and distanced himself from the explosion.
Thanks to the explosion happening in the air, the training ground didn't suffer from any damages from the explosion, but it did create a large smokescreen, which Naruto uses to hide himself for a moment.
Fugaku didn't see Naruto entering the smokescreen and currently surveys the area for any traces of Naruto.
Moments later Fugaku heard the ground beneath his feet breaking, which quickly turned his head downwards, and saw two hands trying to grab his legs.
Fugaku, who had already seen Naruto use this tactic earlier, immediately jumped back and didn't intend to attack the ground since he knew it was most likely done by a Shadow Clone.
Before Fugaku's feet touched the ground, Naruto suddenly appeared behind him out of nowhere and wrapped his arms around Fugaku, which caught the latter by surprise.
Fugaku tries to use his strength to free himself but finds that the strength behind Naruto's grip is far stronger than he realized.
"Satsuki, Hinata now!" Naruto shouts.
Satsuki and Hinata, who had already found their footing, immediately dash towards Fugaku and Naruto's location.
Fugaku makes a hand sign using his one arm to perform a technique.
'Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu'
Fugaku breathes out a fireball towards the two girls, which forces them to dodge the attack.
The time limit of one hour is about to be reached, and the distance between Hinata and Satsuki from Fugaku is too far to reach in a short period of time, making the two girls worry about the result of the test, which is clearly going toward failure.
Just as Fugaku was about to win, suddenly another Naruto came out from the ground and cut down the red string and grabbed both bells before leaping back.
"It's over," Naruto's clone calmly said while lifting the bells in the air, and coincidentally the stopwatch sounds ringing throughout the entire training ground, a signal that the time is up.
Naruto let go of Fugaku and slowly made his way to the clone, which handed the bell towards the original before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
